Depends what skin you're using. You're using "Light" and it isn't added on that skin as I was planning on removing it.

  11. Back in the day there were a lot of famous PK'ers, all of which abided by the honour code, thus, set a trend for everyone else. When they stopped playing and the wilderness was removed, the code was forgotten. Then BH was brought out, the main way to make money from this was to go inside and PJ a fight in order to get some loot with a very minimal risk. Dark Bowers were amongst the main accounts used in this way, and people just became accustomed to it and accepted the risk of being PJed by people. PK'ing was still a good way to make money, so BH was used a lot and most of the BH worlds were always full. PK'ing was still alive, that's what people are forgetting, a lot more people PK'ed when BH was around than most people think. Not as many as the old wilderness, but it certainly wasn't dying. The only thing that was dying was the honour code. After that PvP worlds were released, with rubbish loot, masses of glitches, PJing still existed on a massive scale and it only got worse because it was so easy to use a special attack and kill someone for loot. Also, the Grand Exchange was around and a lot of people flipped and manipulated the prices in order to make bank. That was another contrubuting factor to why the wilderness started dying. Money is now too easy to make without any risk. You can go PvM on a maxed main at either Corp, GWD, TD's, etc and make bank in a few hours, so why go in the wild and risk your items with only a slight chance of ever profitting because of the amount of risk involved? Before the quick methods of making money meant you had to risk something. For example, Green Dragons; they were a huge source of income for legit players, making a few hundred k an hour. Which back then was a great amount of money. But because Jagex brought out new monsters and made the game so god damn easy there's just no reason to go there. Green dragons brought PK'ers, in the hope to get whips which were worth a lot of money, that caused PK'ers to bump in to each other and start fights, which made Green Drag teams, etc. Same goes for Runite Ore, and any other methods there were in the wild. Some of you may not agree but I truly believe the main reason it's "dying" is because of new monsters and how easy it is to make money. It's so easy that you no longer have to risk your items in order to make a decent amount of cash. I'm talking about times before even Visage's existed. There were very few monsters that dropped huge amounts of cash, KBD was killed for dragon helms, Kalphite Queen was killed for Dragon Chain, which back then was over 20m. 20m was a massive amount of money and KQ was one of the only monsters that dropped any item worth anywhere near that. Even Chaos Elemental only dropped a Dragon 2h and that was seen as an amazing drop. tl;dr. PvM killed PvP.

  15. Are you kidding me? We have passwords, can login by email and bank pins. It certainly isn't Jagex's job to make it anymore difficult for hackers because the next step would be an authenticator. And something is not "very hard to prove" if the person commiting the action admits to doing so in a friggen video. Not your responsibility to enforce this kind of stuff, but you are running a community site. If you want people that hack/ddos posting and "contributing" to the site then go ahead. You're missing the point and twisting everything, should have known you'd write some crap on this topic, but hey **. Jagex's system is rubbish, it's so easy to recover accounts now because it's so easy to gather information on people, check my topic in announcements about it. An authenticator could work, or they could take some ideas from Facebook, such as text confirmations, it's simple and very very effective. When I said it's hard to prove, I was mainly referring to DDoSing, yes you can track the IP's, but no one uses their own computer to DDoS they use servers and hide behind a VPN. So yes, it is VERY hard to prove. I don't want people who hack or DDoS to be a part of PW but it's hard to prove if someone is DDoSing so there isn't much we can do against the person who committed the crime. Hacking, yes it can be proved a bit easier than DDoSing, but if the person isn't an idiot it can be quite difficult. You all think hacking and DDoSing is something new when it's gone on since the game began, it's only in the last few years that it happens on a larger scale, also, it's even worse than this in the main communities. Not sure how I missed the point, your post does nothing to explain that. There are videos of people hacking on youtube. If you don't want them to be a part of the community, do something about it instead of saying it. I don't know what more proof is required than someone uploading a hack to their own youtube channel and training on their clanmates while they are all cheering him on. If you don't have to go out of your way to prove it, if someone without a reasonable doubt hacked someone, I don't see how it's so hard to ban that person with a clear concience. I know hacking and ddosing hae been a part of the game, it was far worse than it is now many years back and other MMOs have it just as bad, but I didn't debate that. The video I saw about Addy Daddy was uploaded on a youtube account called "pooraddydaddy" so that isn't proof. Yes EoP leaders were there, but there was no proof as to who was actually on the account. So there's doubt as to who was on it, therefore action can't be taken.

  17. The ads we get don't even cover our server costs LOL. How about you quit talking crap.
  18. MarK. I removed your post for a reason, don't make me remove it again.
  19. Posting screenshots of leaked admin boards is a 100% warn, you'll be banned straight up for doing it. I'm sick of this petty drama and hacking/DDoSing, it's absolutely pathetic. This is a game, and the activities people are engaging in (DDoSing) are illegal. All clans have a select few in their clan that commit these crimes, no clan is innocent. Every clan has done something like hacking/DDoSing to gain an advantage over a rival clan, that's unfortunately how this game has become, it's no longer about fun it's actually taking over peoples' lives. Pure Warfare will never take action against those who hack or DDoS, since it isn't our place to do so. Both of which are VERY hard to prove, and RuneScape/Jagex should be responsible for hackings as they don't put enough protection in place to secure accounts properly. We are a community, a place for clans to communicate, we do not enforce rules, we cannot enforce rules, take some responsibility for your own actions for once.
