  1. Yeah, there's quite a lot, just Google it.
  2. We just need more people to start topics, etc. But this can only happen if you help us promote the site. I've advertised the best I can to clan leaders, now it's down to them to inform their members about PW.
  3. Yeah, I've noticed this. We need you all to help us. Promote the site to your friends and get them to be active. :)
  4. 19th May 2009 - Missing My Mummy There are many secrets hidden in the depths of the desert. Forgotten tombs of forgotten rulers from a forgotten time, when the world was a very different place...or at least they were forgotten. The spread of human civilisation, however, means that many of the hidden corners of the world are being uncovered, often by treasure-hunters with little regard for preserving the sanctity of these ancient places. Recently, one such tomb, near Uzer, was discovered by treasure-hunters. Leela of Al Kharid does care about the sanctity of this particular place, and she wants your help to recover information that is of great importance to her. Warning – Mild Spoilers Please note that we haven’t forgotten about your request to not start too many new quest series until we have continued with, and finished, a few of the existing ones. While it might not seem like it initially, this quest is actually part of the same quest series as Tale of the Muspah; this one just approaches things from a very different direction, so it’s probably not entirely clear how things fit together yet. We’ve been calling this quest series Mysteries of the Mahjarrat here in the Jagex office. It is going to be tying together a few loose ends from various quests, and hopefully bringing more cohesion to parts of the Runescape mythology and storyline. While we’re starting the quest series with low-level requirements, later quests will have progressively higher requirements as we draw in the different existing storylines. Additionally, Missing My Mummy also ties into some of the ongoing desert storylines. Summary: Requirements to start Missing my Mummy: 35 Cooking 35 Construction 35 Crafting 35 Magic 35 Prayer Must have completed Prince Ali Rescue Must have completed The Golem Must have completed Icthlarin’s Little Helper Requirements for total completion: 25 Thieving 45 Crafting 45 Prayer 50 Magic Must have completed Garden of Tranquillity In other news... We have improved Low and High Alchemy so that if you don't time your clicks correctly, it'll still return you to the spellbook after your inventory. Hopefully you'll find this useful when you’re going about your daily alching! You can also queue up one to cast while the current spell is being performed. We have added an activity bar to the Soul Wars minigame. If you've been taking part in the game the bar should remain green, but if you don't take part the bar will slowly turn orange, and eventually run out, at which point you'll be removed from the game. You'll find that after killing someone in a Bounty or PvP world you'll have a bit of time to pick up drops before potentially being whisked away for a random event.
  5. 11th May 2009 - Offence System Updated As part of our focus on the RuneScape community, we’ve transformed our offence system; we’ve also made some changes to the Rules of RuneScape. Most importantly, many offences will now expire after 12 months. The main reason we’ve done this is because we accept that many people learn from their previous mistakes, especially small offences committed long ago. This means that if you have an account that had offences on it, it’s entirely possible that they’ve been removed! To support this, we no longer issue black marks, we simply record the offences themselves. If you log into the Offence Appeals page, you’ll see two pillars: one records offences that can result in being banned, the other records offences that can result in being muted. It should now be much simpler to see your account’s status and where you stand. If you have an account that is still banned or muted after today, we’re allowing you another chance to submit an appeal. Our Player Support team will then reassess your offences and decide whether to remove some or all of them. Furthermore, we have changed the system to allow players who have had their accounts stolen a chance to appeal offences that occurred while it was hijacked. Typically, this happened because the hijacker unsuccessfully appealed, leaving the real owner with no chance to appeal for themselves. If you have ever had membership on the account and have built up a significant amount of game time, you’ll have another chance to appeal after 21 days. The Rules of RuneScape We’ve updated the way the rules are organised to make it simpler for you to report abuse and to keep yourself free of offences. The rules are now organised under three general headings (click here to read about the rules in full): Honour Offences related to cheating (like scamming, macroing, real-world trading, etc.) Respect Offences related to inappropriate behaviour (like obscene language, discrimination, bullying, etc.) Security Offences related to real-world safety and security threats (like asking for real-life contact details, website advertising, etc.) To help out with this, we’ve also updated the in-game report abuse feature. You’ll now see two screens – one for entering the player’s name, and another for selecting the rule they’ve broken. Final Note If you receive a ban or mute in-game, this will also prevent you from using the forums. Equally, if you receive a forum ban, you’ll be muted in-game. This is because we believe that players should be treated equally whether they’re playing the game or posting on the forums. Please note that because of the changes to how different offences are treated, it’s possible that any ban or mute you are currently affected by may have changed. For example, if you had three days left of a five-day mute yesterday, today you could have five days left of a ten-day mute, or one day left of a three-day mute.
  6. No one could receive them, or view them. That's probably why :P At least I admit my faults =]
  7. Well, it appears I coded something incorrectly in func_msg.php. Most of you won't understand, but this made PM's to stop working and instead displays a blank page. This has now been fixed and you can use your PMs again. Sorry about that :) ~Karl
  8. That's because the code wasn't active in his post, but by the time someone quoted it, I had added it :P
  9. I bought mine for mid, the prices shown were the mid prices when I made the guide.
  10. Fatality, oh wait, I am Fatality. But if TGG re-opened, I'd definitely rejoin :)
  11. Thanks a lot, I'll release to high level clans when there's at least 100 registered members.
  12. I got 23, so in order to get rune gloves 25 defence was needed :(
  13. I was going to add that, I was farming whilst superheating earlier today :)
  14. Yeah I am, Fatality was cool before and I'm still enjoying it now. I really enjoyed Ascendency though, I hope to re-join them on another account soon.
  15. Nice work Jay, Baseball isn't big in England. :P
  16. I will when more artistic people sign up :D
  17. Yeah, I noticed. I've been back to each of the forums a few times to check on what people have written and 2 clans have removed the topic. All the others seem pretty interested. It's hard to convince them, so maybe you could help out by speaking to your clan mates for me :)
  18. I've just got 85 mage and 50 smithing doing this :D
  19. [/p] Introduction: Guide Name: Cheap/Free Magic Exp Hourly Income: -50,000gp to 5000gp profit Hourly Experience: 80k magic, 25k+ smithing Requirements: 43 magic, 30 smithing Cost to begin: Around 1-2m. Instructions: [p] Firstly, you need to go the GE and buy 1000 iron ore, 1000 nature runes, and 2000 coal. 1000 Iron ore = 103,000 2000 Coal = 348,000 1000 Natures = 225,000 TOTAL = 676,000 This will give you: 53,000 magic experience 18,000 smithing experience 1000 Steel bars 1000 x 639 = 639,000 676,000 - 639,000 = -37,000 Each experience costs you 0.698113 gp. This means from 43 magic (50,339xp) to 99 magic (13,034,431xp) it will cost you 9.064m, you will also get 86, nearly 87 smithing from level 30. So, 53k mage and 18k smithing exp cost you 37k, which isn't bad, and it doesn't take long. In order to speed up the process, you should do it like this: You can also do this for mithril and adamantite bars if you have the right smithing level. Mithril 1000 Mithril ore = 219,000 4000 Coal = 696,000 1000 Nature Runes = 225,000 TOTAL = 1,140,000 1,140,000 - 1,121,000 = -19,000 You lose 19k and gain 53k Magic experience and 30k smithing experience. Each experience costs you 0.358491 gp. This means from 43 magic (50,339xp) to 99 magic (13,034,431xp) it will cost you 4,654,680gp. Adamant 1000 Adamant ore = 1,032,000 6000 Coal = 1,044,000 1000 Nature Runes = 225,000 TOTAL = 2,301,000 2,305,000 - 2,301,000 = 3,000 You GAIN 3,000gp, 53k Magic experience and 37.5k smithing experience. Each experience makes you 0.056604 gp. This means from 43 magic (50,339xp) to 99 magic (13,034,431xp) you will make 734,951 gp. I stumbled across this today in IRC just checking the prices of ores :)
  20. I didn't! I didn't even know you knew about it noob.
  21. Each trip lasts 2-3 hours, I'm not entirely sure, I just do about an hour of them log out and go again until I'm empty.
