Pretty much the same **** that won the American people over the first time. The question now is do people have faith to fall for this again? Are we inevitably doomed as majority of economist's and American people believe? Have you lost faith in our so called "world leaders? These days we are seeing an inflation of the college degree. The new Bachelors degree is the new masters, the new masters is the doctorate. jobs are scarce, hell you are expected to at least have a Masters to step foot in a door on this competitive market. Having just your undergrad doesn't get you as far as it once did. WIth that being the case how do we succeed in this economy? You rack up massive amounts of loans just through your first four years and now we are obligated to pursue a masters degree and consider grad school. Even if you say ill take the loans just to get my education because its priority. There is such a little chance of you actually landing a decent job after its all said and done. We are unfortunately growing up in hard times. How do you guys feel about this? Is it affecting you personally and your goals for the future? Do you think there is a better approach as opposed to school?

For the post and the enthusiasm i applaud you Keith. I believe it can be done but it would take effort on everyones part. If one clan is sour then we all are.

At first i played on pure enjoyment of runescape itself. Now however i have noticed that i literally dont even play runescape unless it is clan related. My pure enjoyment is solely the clan system itself. I like to think of it in terms of corporations like apple, Microsoft, dell, etc etc.. The few things i've benefitted from playing this game i would say are valuable. When you lead clans you have to make an image, protect that image, prove to a community of players why your clan is such and such. You have to be creative in advertising it. You have to make goals and keep a well informed staff. You have think outside the box. You have to manage these clans and keep a satisfied member base. What you are learning here is how to manage a system and eventually let it run itself. What do business owners have to do? CEO's? CFO's? A lot of these skills are relevant in business today. Marketing, sales, finance, Administration etc.. The clan itself is what you are selling to consumers. Time management is also learned i believe. You may see this or not but aside from this off the wall things i've gained are: Building and developing a website Script GFX Music Working in team oriented projects (derived from clan staff) Also being able to project myself and my opinion in a more stable way.

The Community Forums like Milky stated have contributed to this. Does this mean stop coming to the forums? Have nothing to do with them? Well no because most clans especially upcoming clans literally need these forums for growth within the clan itself. The pure community as a whole now survives off of advertising. The big rivalries have expanded the Pure Community. Competition has been the biggest force behind the massive amount of creativity, innovation, and drive for each clan today. Now we've come to a mindset where its not about a rivalry anymore its about literally killing another clan and everything it stands for. How can anything positive come from that?
