Yes there's definitely a weight/prestige that comes with a degree from Russel Group Universities. Personally I think there's too much pressure on you to apply and go straight off. More emphasis should be put onto gap years and whatnot. Where'd you get that from? I'm interested because there are completely polar opinions/statistics in regard to post-uni. job opportunities. I concur with the idea that many graduates end up in low-end retail jobs etc etc, but anyway any source for that stat?

Lots of different opinions on this, but an English university (I think Coventry or Nottingham) did a study and found that an individual with an undergrad degree or above earned (on average) 400-500k more than somebody without, so it's definitely worth it. As for post-university opportunities; Most unis have some sort of work scheme enrolled with their course don't they? I wouldn't know I'm only 17 hahaha. edit: Can go into more depth with UK uni. but I'm not sure whether American or English unis are the main focal of this topic? Clarify yo.

Don't know how much you know about natural progression but as the game grows older the community's participants (us) and understanding of the game grows. I started when I was 10/11 I'm now 17 my understanding of the game has grown thus diminishing my appreciation of achieving an 80 stat. I've had two maxed pures and two maxed mains there's no way I'll ever be able to revert back to 'hey look 80 strength ommmmmmmmmfg!@!'. Plus, you may disagree but community's evolve too, with age, updates and influences (clans etc). Getting stuck on a nostalgia-high isn't something you should do often simply appreciate and participate in what we have now because the old times are (CLICHÉ INBOUND) done and dusted.
