Statue drops were made rarer at the +1 update. Before that EP was great. Your only chance of good drops are pvp items which were already rare, statues or what your opponent loses.

Honestly, I think Dv are good, but TLP have shown twice they're a differant class when it comes to fullouts, especially in P2P.
