  1. Thats a pretty stupid thing to say. Sharks have as much superstars. Joe Thornton 79GP-20G-69A-89PTS Patrick Marleau 82GP-44G-39A-83PTS Dany Heatley 82GP-39G-43A-82PTS Pavel Datsyuk 80GP-27G-43A-70PTS Henrik Zetterberg 74GP-23G-47A -70PTS The Shark line had a way better season. Red Wings have the edge in Defense which will be a problem for the Shark line because they don't play well against good defensive teams. (Like when they played USA in the Olympics)
  2. Doesn't matter. Look at Montreal, they got owned by the Caps in the regular season and still managed to beat the best team in the NHL and the strongest offensive team. Which was the 2nd biggest upset in NHL history. The only way I see the Sharks losing is if Nabokov (who is horrible) chokes as usual. But imo Heatley - Thorton - Marleua is the 2nd best offense line up right after ovy backstrom semin.
  3. My predictions for the 2nd round: San Jose over Detroit (Lol don't harass me) Vancouver over Chicago Philly over Boston Pittsburgh over Montreal ;)
  4. 2nd round is Pens vs Habs, Philly vs Bruins. And Blackhawks vs Canucks and Red wings vs Sharks.
  5. If Caps win tonight and win the second round with Pens winning the second round also they will face eachother in the Eastern Conference Finals which would be intense.
  6. Ya that was Eric Belanger. Also in one of my posts before, if Shane Doan played Phoenix would of won and if not Detroit would win. And he did not play. 'Yotes got thrashed though.
  7. Going to be a very good series. IMO: Canucks have the better top-6 forwards Blackhawks have the better bottom-6 forwards Blackhawks have the better Defense Canucks have way better goalie Blackhawks beat the Canucks last year in the 2nd round So all in all should be a great series.
  8. If Shane Doan plays I say the Coyotes win, if he doesn't the Red Wings win.
  9. Winnepeg made way more money than Phoenix. The Coyotes have lost over 50 Million dollars in the last 3 years lmao.
  10. If you did the NHL would die within 2 years. The Leafs have the highest ticket price revenue and have sold out every game since 1999. While on the other hand teams like Phoenix average like 8,000 fans in a playoff game while there arena fits like 19,000.
  11. That doesn't mean anything. They won most of there cups when there was 6 teams in the NHL. Plus Leafs are in second with 13.
  12. 65% of the NHL is made up of Canadian players. GF. :D
  13. Um not its not. The Leafs have remained the highest money grossing team in the NHL for years now. And we have way more fans than Detroit. I have been to Detroit and I live in Toronto, I think I should know.
  14. Lol Leafs have the most fans than any other NHL team.
  15. Chara was suspended for Game 6 because he got an Instigator penalty within the last 5 minutes of the game but the NHL decided not to suspend him. Boston is lucky. <_<
  16. Morris destroyed Abdelkader, and he hit Yandle once while he was on the ground. If you watch before that happened Yandle was already on the ground and Abdelkader was face-washing him then started punching him while on top of him.
  17. Maybe, but I feel sorry for Abdelkader getting owned by Derek Morris. Ouch... :P
  18. Pens won yesterday wooo. And also I'm happy the Sharks won even though I predicted them to choke in the first round. Also Phoenix leading 5-1 in 3rd period :O Game 7 Coyotes will win ;)
  19. He looked very shaky. But they had no choice, it was either Brodeur or Clemensen which obvi they would go with Marty. And also Niemi has been good, he hasn't let in a Powerplay goal this series. And there has been 17 :O
  20. Kovalchuk is overrated and he never passes the puck. They traded way to many assets for him seeing as he only played with them for 3 months.
  21. Devils are out, my prediction was right :)
  22. I will be ****** if Blackhawks lose to the Preds...Chicago is WAYYYYYY more stacked its just the Blackhawks goalies are weak other than that top 3 team in the NHL.
  23. Found this on Google: Habs is an abbreviation of "les habitants," the informal name given to the original settlers of New France, dating back to the 17th Century. So it's a natural fit for the The Montreal Canadiens, established in 1909 and marketed as a French-Canadian hockey team. Having said that, the nickname might have been the result of an error. According to NHL.com, the first man to refer to the team as "the Habs" was Tex Rickard, owner of Madison Square Garden, in 1924. Rickard apparently told a reporter that the "H" on the Canadiens' sweaters was for "Habitants." Not true. The distinctive C-wrapped-around-H logo stands for "Club de Hockey Canadien."
