Well I have had a change of heart on this issue... 30 defence is fine go ahead, because it actually lives up to the values pures had when they were first made, they were made to kill mains and your just facilitating that :D

Its not our job to keep you alive lol, were doing quite well by ourselves for the lowest leveled guild vs useless clans

This site has more of an impact than you think, saying that there is no reason for you to step in. Grow a pair, omni has already said that clans would slump if they couldn't use this site and many would agree with him although doubt they would say that out loud. Your reluctance to do anything vastly underestimates your standing in this community and that of your site, sure they could go to PC but tbh 1 word... sefket. You have the power to slump clans and if all they care about is winning they will do what needs to be done to do so, and we can hope that means that they change their ways in order to be allowed back on this site. Were not asking for much just a simple set of rules in which clans must abide, it aint like im beating children here no need to look shocked it really isn't much to ask.

Nobody is saying they have to moderate clan decisions, we are simply asking for them to ask the bare minimum of clans not to break the law and actually enforce it in their clan and if they don't... simples.

You don't want to do anything incase they might turn around and ddos you. What kind of a stance is that, pure cowardice. You may not want to tell clans what they can and cannot do, however clans do not need to use this site, surely it would be a better policy to protect your users and integrity as a site to say well your members engage in illegal activity over a video game, that goes against what we stand for and if you wish to use the site you have to agree that it is unacceptable and do something about it.

Sure doing something might not change anything, but also not doing anything will not change anything. CP go out of their way to post a topic on your boards saying they engaged in an illegal activity and if you delete their post they will target you, despite the obv exaggeration of that last bit you just say nothing. I'd rather be a part of a community with a backbone, such young dreams of somewhere where things would be different. Its a shame.

Yes PW should take a hard stance on ddosing and hacking, but tom getting hacked wasn't anything to do with the clan he was in, it was for money. They tried to get tom to give them his bank pin with the threat of training defence. Normally I don't really care what the boys do but when they are getting people defence it gets abit dodgy, money can be remade you cant remove defence levels :(

Don't like people being hacked for defence, ******* disgusting. Ofcourse you can't expect people to be sympathetic when most of the clans here have been linked with hacking in one way or another, and if you don't speak out against it and try to stop your clans doing it then you have nothing to fall back on when it comes to you. Why cant we get away from thinking about the pure community, this is a topic about the idea of 30-45 defence clans. Not for people to simply say noooooooooo they would have rune or they will attack the pure clans (that i allready said in the OP) Simply whether or not the clans with 30-40 30+ defence members would be better off dropping the 1-29 def and accepting zerkers, giving that they would be a closer combat and because there are alot of zerkers that might want clans but dont like HF or pot. Why don't you just make a 30-45 defence clan? I really should edit that post above to say 'no pointless posts about 'ydunt you do its?''

Joined the pure community in 06 with BP/reddies, quickly joined Valiance after that on a new pure.

You gotta love how 70% of people on this topic completely missed the entire point of the topic.

Yeah to the guy who said HF would own any clan that decided to do this... atleast whenever I was in foe a good while ago, they were never all that much of a problem, more of a nuisance if anything, sure foe might not have kicked their ass but they were never a real threat.

Ok so ignoring that little prat, this is just a discussion im not saying you should or shouldn't do anything, its only an idea to be discussed hypothetically.

Just for conversations sake, forget PW topics, but what if say FOE or some of the other HPCs stopped accepting 1-29 defence and accepted up to 45 defence. What would be the problem with that? FOE allready loves turmoil, by doing they they would make themselves one of the very best clans with a small combat gap that can do allot of damage. Say 80 attack 99 str and turmoil at 30 defence gets you 102 combat, 45 defence gives you 105 combat, and you all know when you reach that sort of level it takes alot to make a big gap in the combat. I personally think it would solve everyones problem, more pure clans for 1-20 defence and the people with higher defence could do work in their own group and more than likely be cunts and **** the lower clans on the weekend, just dont see why they need to bring 70's to do so. Now on this topic i would appreciate it if people wouldnt go straight for 'topics like these wont work' and '30 def isnt pure' I would simply want to see if when you forget current drama you would see this might be a good idea?
