... Pure clan leaders don't necessarily want 30 def in their clan, they just don't want to exclude clans with 30 def members from the pure community due to one clan who think they're morally better than everyone else wanting it that way. It's two completely different things.

How is 1 > 20? People with 20 defence can also have barrage 1 def may be less weight, but 20 def has more offensive and defensive bonus, therefore helping you deal more damage and keeping you alive longer 1 def = pure 20 def = pure ???

The only way you'll have any chance of changing this is by setting a trend. How about (since MM obviously think they have the lowest defence average) you change your reqs to 10- def. If you do that and keep hold of #1, I'm sure some other clans will follow suit. Until you do that, you can't really complain about anything as you're still contributing to the problem, rather that combating it.

You can't blame single clans for it. They run their clan how they want. Do something about it if you want to change it.
