I recall you pulling numbers in the high 30's when I returned to leading CPR at the start of summer. CH were pulling high 20's to low 30's. CPR came closest to closing the gap Pulls dropped when we moved into F2P, lots of our members wanted a P2P only clan and when we started F2P they left, our pull dropped from 55 to 35 in a week >.< hindsight makes me cringe.

Respect goes to CP for this fight. Steppin up to a fight you knew you didn't have alot of experience in. Battling though there flame taking the loss on the chin. You only learn when you loose, you never learn when you win. Good luck in future P2P events CP.

I am amazed at how many people appear to be in favour of the death of pures. If pures died the game would become stale and boring, everyone would just be a maxed out main, fighting other maxed out mains. It would suffer from the star wars glalxy syndrome where everyone was a maxed out Jedi fighting another maxed out Jedi with the exact same gear and equipment. variety is the spice of life, more variation of accounts, the more interesting the game is. Jagex should recognise this and try to not kill us. Also, were happy here, we have clans here, community here etc. Updates that would be in our favour are eagle anticipated but after watching that conference it appears they will never occur. I rest my case.

Ignorant, hows it's ignorant? Im asking for something that will let pures compete with tanks/zerks again instead of running from them 70% of the time in single combat and 100% of the time in multy. Jagex should embrace people wanting to fine tune there accounts, not try to squash it. They need to start giving updates to all character types. Jagex didn't want class specific accounts like on WoW or other such games, but that's what has happened, the community is happy with that, Jagex are the only ones that don't seem to like it, they need to stop being arse holes and do what the consensus want. What would fix it is a way that people can change the level of there combat related skills, lets say a elite quest where the reward is to pick what combat related stats you want to change, then you can change it back when ever you want. That would fix everything. Want to pk as a lvl 60? Just go to the quest alter or w/e change your stats then go pking as a lvl 60 obby mauler, want to pk as a main for a lil bit... go back to him change all your stats to lvl 99. It would fix everything but Im not sure it would work as it would change the game far too much.

Thats only true for lvl 70 or below pures. If your lvl 70+ your going to fight tanks, if your 85+ cmb you might meet low level zerkers. At the moment they can kill 1 defence pures quite simply, they most certainly have the advantage. With more updates that are targeted towards 30+ defence that isnt new armour. Even low level mains (lvl 70 att, 70 str, 70 def etc) could beat prues. Then that undermines the entire purpose and creation of pures. I don't think Jagex should continue to try and "encourage us to get defence" as were happy as we are, we have a good community, clans with loyal members etc, whilst we should evolve and go with the flow, we don't want to as were happy with our history and community... Were settled here. Jagex should recognise this and encourage the pure vs main fight. Give pures some cool new items. I think they should release a new spell book that you need 20 defence of below to utilise, but there never going to do that as the main world would be in uproar. They should encourage the variants of accounts, they said the like that people care enough to fine tune there accounts but at the end of the day they want everyone to be a main, I do not agree with this. Also as a side note, chaotic weapons take too much time to obtain thus they very very rarely risked in the wilderness. Whilst there good in clw, there not good group pking weapons. Unlike turmoil. And a pure is 20 defence or below, there are many different variants of this, if turmoil was obtainable on a 1 defence account it would simply create turmoil pures. Just as ancient magic created 13 prayer pures.

This really isnt sinking into you is it? Things that require defence should require defence, things that don't require defence shouldn't require defence but do. Every powerful item that is coming out now, eg turmoil. Surprise surprise. Requires defence "encouraging us to level defence". If turmoil was a set of armour, of cause it should require defence, but turmoil is a prayer, why do you need a defence level to utilise a prayer? The bottom line is Jagex are trying to kill pures, they admitted it at runefest. There doing it by making all good combat related things received from a quest require a defence level, regardless of if it's a armour or not.

From the sentence "there will be more updates to encourage you to get defence" that's what im picturing is going to happen. Imagen when you leave highschool you go straight into work, your happy there and are on a modest but acceptable celery for a 20 year old. Then one day the king of runescape decided he doesn't like people who didn't carry on with further education so makes you need a degree as a requirement to get a job. Youre ether going to be on your poor wage for the rest of your life your your going to college. Same kinda thing with pures and mains thats going on at the moment.

No, your completely missing the point. There going to have all new weapons/magic/prayer/whatever require a high defence. Lets say, they release one of these elite quests there on about, and you can do the quest without needed a defence level. At the end of it the reward will be a kick ass sword that hits 600's and 10k defence xp. That is what they said they would do, and that is what they have been doing. Hand cannons, Turmoil and now the more common enchanted crossbow effects. Yes, armour should require defence levels.. No one is saying it shouldn't. What Jagex are doing that they shouldn't is making other things require defence levels that shouldn't require them. They sat around a CHOSE that turmoil needs 30 defence, they CHOSE that hand cannons needs 27 etc... They are doing this with the desired goal of you having to level defence in order to compete in the wilderness.

There not doing it literally, there doing it metaphorically. Give enough pvp rewards to tanks/zerkers/low level mains and pures cant compete. So it will turn on it's head, destroying the fundamental purpose of pures, pure>low level main.

There forcing you to get defence, they said it in the conference. The more benefits they give to people with defence, the more powerful they become. Thus the more pures get there arses kicked in pvp, it will get to the point where pures just get destroyed by tanks/zerkers without a chance of winning. Jagex CHOSE for handcannon and turmoil to need defence, they could have made it so 1 def accounts can get them but no the CHOSE to make it main only by giving defence as quest rewards. Today they made it so you NEED defence to get the bonus of more common enchanted xbow effects. You said chaotic weapons don't need defence. This is true but not many people risk chaotic weapons due to the length of time that goes into getting them, not even many mains risk chaotic weapons. They CHOSE to screw pures footwear up. Honestly, I cant remember the last weapon/prayer/magic that came out that pures could realistic utilise in pvp... I think it was ancient magic. Jagex CHOSE to make all the recent good weapons/prayer/magic/other have defence requirement. Why cant they just let us be? They are saying that as a pure you cant play certain aspects of there game, but what they are forgetting is to have a pure you need to have knowledge of the game. 99.99% of all pures have/have had a main, so they would eventually play these parts of the game. Im not saying they should stop updating the game, just when a good item comes out they make it available to everyone, not just 30+ defence accounts. I will say this though, there game was perfect in 2005.

I see it as at the start there were two rooms, main and pures. Everyone chose a room and was happy for 5 years, mains became settled down, pures becomes settled and all was fine in the wonderful world of runescape, then Jagex took a dump in the pure room, it stunk up the room but not everyone moved as they didnt want to. So jagex started to take more dumps in said room, pures still dont move, so Jagex started to take a full on diarrhoea dump in the room right over everyone's heads, and they will keep doing it till everyone up and moves to the main room. We dont want to move because we like it in the room, we have friends there, set clans there, and it's all good. Jagex want us gone because there just power mad trolls. If any Jagex staff read this, fire MMG; every poor update appears to be his brain child.

Ima say CPR, when I came back as leader at the start of summer we were pulling 5 to mandatory p2p trips. Now we pull a consistent 35, our highest pull of these months was 55. I don't think any other clan has had an improvement like that. As for that peak and fall people were talking about, that decline was one of the best thing that could happen, it cut the bandwagon clan hoppers out and left us with strong loyal members. This period was also the time we rose up from being a no named clan to being accepted in the mainstream. IR and CH have ended this quarter more or less where they started it. FOE has improved a little bit, MM has put more focus on P2P and have started to show that there not as week as people made out in P2P. EoP have followed suit with MM, they have also been getting stronger more consistent pulls than the start of the term. TLP have kinda stayed the same I think. FI are not doing as well as they were at the start of summer. As for the other clans, I haven't really been paying much attention to your pulls/presence so I cant comment. These 3 months took the lives of DP, DV and dFx2. RIP.

I don't think there is a 100% non F2P clan any more. The clans with the most ethicist on p2p are TLP and CPR, as far as im aware all the others are ether equally F2P and P2P or mainly F2P. Oh, check Carnage out, they might be P2P only... No sure tho, they just opened.

I've proved enough, IRC logs and using your own videos as proof. IR had a weekend of crashing and bsin, I wouldn't be surprised if you had a spy in ether CPR or CP. You were at the exact locations, at the exact time that we were meant to fight, twice in a row. Coincidence???
