  1. To be honest, most lists are biased lol. You'll see MM members ranking MM #1 and E #2 and then E members ranking E #1 and MM #2.
  2. I haven't been around the community too much lately, but from what I can see.. F2P 1. MM 2. E 3. FOE/EOP 4. -- 5. DP 6. CP 7. Fi 8. TLP 7. IR/DV/CY 8. -- 9. -- 10. TGG I've probably forgotten somebody and they'll quote this post raging, but I haven't left anybody out on purpose.
  3. I didn't say that we beat IR. Watch the video. You rushed us in SC, we fought you for a few minutes, then you dissapeared. But I'm sure TLP damaged your numbers.
  4. | Forums | Memberlist | Youtube Channel | Last week Rangep00n, Zulu and myself had a very serious discussion and decided that it's time to step back into the race and begin competing again. After the hiatus, it took us a little over a month to build the clan back up and that is exactly what we have done. We decided to start off slowly by starting our trip an hour before the major clans go out and staying out for an hour. We then had an amazing war on Sunday to top it all off. Enjoy the topic! -------------------------------------------------------- Calamity Saturday - F2P This was our first mandatory saturday trip since we re-opened applications and started having events again. We peaked at 52 People which was a real sign of improvement. We spent an hour killing small teams from 8-9 GMT and then went straight for the big clans. Not much happened, no clans with our numbers would fight us and we didn't have the numbers to compete with anybody else. We started the trip off fighting our good old friends Intense Redemption teamed with TGG. They had just finished a fight against Devastation, but their topic indicates that they had 100% ending options left. I am also aware that TLP were hitting a few IR from the east. It wasn't really a win because of TLP but it was fun anyway. CY Starting - 45 IR Starting - 52 CY Ending - 40+ IR Ending - 21 following Zo in single Not sure about TLP. After the fight, we asked a few more clans for a run in but nobody accepted. We then ended the trip after an hour and 45 minutes. -------------------------------------------------------- Calamity Sunday - P2P This morning, a 70+ P2P Pure Clan Lost Legendz approached Calamity and asked for a full out war. We were already going to have a trip and so accepted the offer. We peaked at 35 People which was great for us considering many of our members are F2P. The fight was immense and only lasted around three minutes. Lost Legendz fell for our trap and ran straight into the barrages, bursts and chinchompas that were waiting for them. After we had picked off a good few of them, we pushed right through the gap and finished off the remaining. CY Starting - 32 LL Starting - 50+(Scouted) CY Ending - 30 LL Ending - ~10 in clan wars After that, we fought them again at chaos altar in a 30v30 and cleared them pretty quickly. We also had other fights with smaller teams that I can't remember. -------------------------------------------------------- Screenshots
  5. You want a matched opts with returning on? Good luck lmao.
  6. It's not really about winning everything or getting a lot of loot, it's about getting a lot of action and some good comeptition.
  7. Yeah thanks for the fights, was really fun to compete against a clan like EOP.
  8. | Forums | Memberlist | Youtube Channel | Well for the christmas holidays, we decided to take a break from Runescape. We stopped mandatory events for two weeks to let members enjoy their real lives. This weekend, it was back to business. No sign-ups were made but our pulls were pretty good. Our trips did lack action but we got a few great fights in there and proved that we are ready to step back into the medium bracket. -------------------------------------------------------- Calamity Friday - PCL The PCL was really fun for Calamity and gave us a chance to fight some of our rivals from before we went into hiatus. For some reason, the high levled clans decided to attend the "low level PCL" but we gave them fights anyway. Thanks to every clan who fought us. Our first two fight were lost when we fought EOP outnumbered by 5 and then CP matched options. The CP fight was extremely close right up until the end but their levels overpowered us. After that, we picked up our numbers, and went back for some revenge. ~ Calamity vs EOP ~ With a 20+ combat average over us, we knew that it was going to be a tough fight. We had a horrible start as it immediately dropped down to 30v30 but we managed to pull back the war and claim the win. CY Starting - 35 EOP Starting - 31 CY Ending - 19 ~ Calamity vs IR ~ I can't find any pictures or videos for this fight and so I can't remember the exact numbers but I'll guess. Our huge number advantage won the war for us but it was nice to fight our old rivals. Thanks for the fight IR. CY Starting - 30 IR Starting - 22 CY Ending - 26 -------------------------------------------------------- Calamity Saturday - F2P It was a very slow Saturday trip for us. We peaked at 35 People but didn't get much action. We heard TGG were pking and so went to look for them, but they didn't really want to fight us. So after about an hour of chasing TGG around, we ran into a big ass main clan. Level 80 and 90 tanks and rune pures. After a lot of fighting and returning, we claimed the win. CY Starting - 35 Mains Starting - ~30 CY Ending - 27 Mains Ending - ~5 in clan wars After that, we walked around a little more until we found TGG. Then after rushing they ran straight into BH Bank so we turned around and hit VD+CS. Thanks to the clans who fought us, and I hope we see you next week Jett :P -------------------------------------------------------- Calamity Sunday - P2P Sunday was similar to saturday but much more entertaining. We peaked at around 30 People and ventured in to the P2P wilderness. We started the trip off by hunting a clan with much more people than us but sadly lost the fight. The war was around 25v50 and the levels were even so it was an extremely hard war for us. After that, we remassed and looked for them again. We were still outnumbered and so we had to wait for the right moment. So, we got a spread below the gap at the Hill Giants and lured them to us. They rushed down hoping to beat us once again but ran right into our barrages, bursts and chinchompas. They pretty much dissapeared in one minute. CY Starting - 25 Team Starting - 35? CY Ending - 24 Team Ending - 0 -------------------------------------------------------- Expect to see us out at the same time as the other clans next week, we're coming for you medium clans! I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I'll update the thread later on today.
  9. I really didn't see this coming myself, but I understand why you are closing. College and School was the reason we went into hiatus and I know that after the holidays this clan is going to take a lot of time away from my college work.
  10. Sorry, I knew I had forgotten something.
  11. You can't really count boxing day.
  12. F2P High Bracket 1. E - They definately aren't high leveled, but they are sure in the high bracket when it comes to strength. 2. MM - I think E have really took MM by suprise, they weren't prepared for another contender. 3. FOE - Haven't heard much from FOE lately. Med Bracket 1. EOP - Could be considered a high division clan, but haven't been out of their slump for long. 2. TLP - They have the potential but don't really do anything. 3. DP - Great leadership and organisation, could be a real problem for EOP. 4. CP - I'm suprised that they have managed to keep their numbers after the merge, lets see how much longer it lasts. 5. TGG/CY - We haven't actually fought yet but it would probably be a really close one. 6. -- 7. IR/DV/M - All slumping right now, haven't heard anything at all from them. 8. -- 9. -- 10. EX - No numbers or organisation, some levels though. Low Bracket 1. CS - Highest numbers, not much organisation. 2. VD - Don't know much about you. 3. DB - Don't know much about you. 4. I - Don't know much about you. Sorry if I missed anybody out.
  13. It's funny how everybody hated FOE when they were #1 and now everybody hates E because they're #1. Anybody competing for the #1 spot is praised by the rest of the pure community and then when they actually get it, all of the opinions change. I believe Fi will take the #1 F2P spot and then everybody will hate them until E, FOE or MM take it back again.
  14. Creation of Pure Warfare? I was all for it at first but actions from the staff saw me leave Pure Warfare for a few months. I rejoined the forum about a week ago and hope I have a better experience this time. Most consistent clan? Definately the Mayhem Makers. People could argue that Final Ownage Elite were the most consistent but I'd have to say MM. New most rising clan? TGG Most surprising downfall? Obviously Fatality Biggest war(s) of the year? MM vs FOE
  15. I vote Divine Brutality because they will probably spam Insignias Ventrilo and disconnect a few people.
  16. All of the opts were either scouted or given to us. What ones would you dispute against?
  17. Well, the past 12 months have shown us that pure clans are unpredictable so anything is possible. Who would of thought that Epidemic would be competing for #1 or that EOP would suddenly get back in the title race?
  18. It was definately 19, I was scouting you guys myself. Ask the guy who was leading.
  19. | Forums | Memberlist | Youtube Channel | Well I'm sure that you are all aware that Calamity went into hiatus in early November. The whole of the leadership team had a lot of problems in real life that needed to be sorted out, so we stopped official events and closed applications so we could catch up in real life with school and college. You may criticize me for this decision, but who can say that they wouldn't do the same? I'm not going to pick an online game over real life. It has now been exactly three weeks since we came out of hiatus. The road so far has been really eventful and it is amazing to see so many old faces back where they belong. I do not have coverage of the previous two weeks but the last few days have been particularly eventful for us. Sit back and enjoy our topic! Calamity Sunday - Prep Video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCSnLgnpMw On saturday, we had a full out war against Lithuanians. It was a really close fight but we lost 2-1 because we had no Ventrilo to use and we were also outnumbered. Congratulations on winning the fight Lithuanians, it was really fun. On sunday, our Event Manager decided to get a F2P prep against Malice in PVP. I logged on late and only caught the end of the fight, but it was really fun. Before Malice mention it, we were about 20 minutes late to the run in. I apologize on behalf of Nathan for this, we were running a bit late and he wanted to wait for me to get there. [CY] Starting - 26 [M] Starting - 25 [CY] Ending - 23 [M] Ending - ~3 got away Calamity Monday - Prep Video - It was the monday after we lost the full out war against Lithuanians, and we were looking for a chance to redeem ourselves. Ventrilo was now sorted out and we were ready to take them on. The fight took place at Volcanoes and was over quickly, Calamity were victorious. [CY] Starting - 31 [LT] Starting - 25 [CY] Ending - 31 [LT] Ending - 0 Calamity Tuesday - P2P Pking On tuesday we decided to go on a members pking trip. For the first part of it, there was no action at all. We wandered around the wilderness finding only small teams and solo pkers. Finally, we were approached with a fight. Devastation asked us if we would fight them and we accepted. After seeing our numbers, they retreated back into Clan Wars and began calling all of their members to the event. We waited for about 15 minutes and then fought them. [CY] Starting - 17 [DV] Starting - 15 [CY] Ending - 15 [DV] Ending - 0 Following that fight, Exile asked us if we wanted a run in. After a lot of waiting we finally found them sitting inside Chaos altar. The fight was over pretty quickly and Calamity won the fight. I would like to apologize to Exile as one of our applicants teleported from the fight, he was declined. [CY] Starting - 14 [EX] Starting - 11 [CY] Ending - 13 [EX] Ending - 0 Calamity Wednesday - F2P Pking Wednesday was the most eventful day of the week. We hosted a two hour F2P pking trip with 5 run ins and a lot of loot. We beat V0P three times and EOP twice. The first fight against V0P was over quickly due to our great piling and binders. We quickly took territory on the volcano north of clan wars and V0P could not take over it. [CY] Starting - 26 [V0P] Starting - ~50 [CY] Ending - 25 [V0P] Ending - ~20 in clan wars V0P then remassed as we did a little pking near BH. We had just fought a small team and most of us were low on food and pray, so we were walking north around the grave yard to clan wars. They were waiting for us there teamed with VTP and the fight began. At one point, it seemed as though we had lost the fight but we never gave up and won the war with most of our numbers remaining. [CY] Starting - 23 [V0P] Starting - ~50 [CY] Ending - 19 [V0P] Ending - ~15 in clan wars We had another fight with V0P but it was over so quickly that there is no need to post the statistics. After beating V0P for the third time, we were rushed by EOP with 10 people. They obviously underestimated our numbers and ran back to clan wars. After that, I was messaged in IRC by an EOP member who asked us for a run in, I accepted. We went to bank and then waited for EOP to gather a few more members. The fight took place at volcanoes and was over quickly. You should also know that no EOP leaders were at this event, it was organized by an EOP member [CY] Starting - 23 [EOP] Starting - 19 [CY] Ending - 23 [EOP] Ending - ~5 in clan wars Pictures Sorry for the lack of pictures, we were all too busy to take screenshots! That just about sums up the last few days in Calamity. I'd like to thank all of the clans that have fought us and have been very respectful about it. Expect to see a lot from us in 2010!
  20. How did you fight CY if we didn't go out? We pulled 38 today I'm sure it would of been a different story if it really was Calamity.
  21. Why would you make this topic after you joined TGG? I really don't understand.. why didn't you justspeak to TGG leaders about it... You are basically putting your own clan down.
  22. When Fi started slumping, they put a spy into Calamity and started crashing our fights. Anyway, either E or MM. Epidemic for breaking the top three and MM because they make Runescape funny.
