Really enjoyed the Hostility fight - huge thanks to them for not dramatically lying about their options like ER. I genuinely can't believe that clans feel the need to have at least 15 more than us before giving us a fight. Their trips must be really boring if they're unable to get a competitive run in that has some sort of balance.

Hey you! Hope all is going well. Haven't really been following all of this, I've seen a few topics on the various forums that I still keep in contact with but I've not really gone out of my way to try and find out what's happen. However, from what I have read, it looks like it'll a slow process if the community is ever to recover. Yes, people will be pulled to the hype of the new servers and pure accounts will be created, but many will be discarded in a few weeks when the hype dies down and people get bored. That being said, as you rightly pointed out, there has always been a few that were extremely dedicated to their clans, people that have been willing to put the hours into it and I have no doubt will be those sort of people around once again; albeit not on the same numerical scale. So I can see small pking teams, maybe small clans that peak around 20 opening which should be fun for those that are going to get involved in all of it.

The pure community is dead. I don't think there's any pure clan that's functioning under the new system. Some pure clans such as FOE/TLP/WAR/Z-MM (different name I think) opened up on battlescape, which is a private server while the majority of people have quit. CP's the only clan thats actually stuck to this game and moved onto the main world. I'm not sure how they're doing but I've not seen anything about them on RSC.

Yes, when Spurs got into the Champions league last time I went to both games at the San Siro as well as all of the home games. Had the chance to go to the Real away game, but it was in the middle of an exam period for me. Was an experience I won't forget for a while, especially the AC game. I'm a pretty hardcore supporter, have been since I was lil guy haha. sick, when i lived in england one of my good friends was an arsenal fan but his entire family, especially his dad, were hardcore spuds and his dad actually watched games from an executive box at WHL. Made it awkward when his son came along and cheered when Arsenal scored against them while all the hardscore Spuds are around them haha. Haha, sounds like when I went to the game at the Emirates when Spurs won 3-2 after going 2-0 down. I got tickets from one of my uncles down who was an Arsenal fan so I had to sit in their end, LOL.

A lot of the people that I hung around with didn't really enjoy playing Runescape but they felt tied to their clan and the events that they held to ensure they were a success. With RS gone, that 'bond' or whatever has been removed so those that felt that way (which was quiet a lot of people) have left the community.

Was a pretty good draw, some good fixtures. Anyone think that Arsenal have a chance against Bayern? Personally, I don't think so. Bayern are on fire in the German league, conceding something like 1 goal every 3 games while Arsenal are well... err... yeah... inconsistant to say the least. United vs Madrid the obvious stand out tie. Madrid playing pretty ****** in la liga but still a long while to the game so they have the talent to turn things around before then. Hope Celtic can pull some **** off too. Europa league had some decent draws too. Spurs vs Lyon and then will go on to play Inter or Cluj. Will be praying for the mighty Spurs and Inter to pull through so I can go to the San Siro again. Liverpool vs Zenit Chelsea vs Sparta Prague Oh yeah, interesting fact. The rehearsal draw brought up the exact same fixtures as the real draw haha.

Spurs vs Lyon followed by Inter in the last 16. May as well stick us in the Champs league with a draw like that. Everyone's moved on, nobody really cares about the RS community anymore except the very few small cliques that are still around.
