Personally I wouldn't go higher attack then 60 if you aren't 90+ str. But thats with 1-10 def. If your 20 def I would stay 60 attack till your 99 str.

Slayer/rockcrabs/experament/fleshcrawlers are all good methods. You could always be a soul wars prod also. Personally I like experaments.
