I find them humorous because most of the "excuses" are actual truths about the clan. Meanwhile they're trying to laugh about it. X clan actually mass recruits, X clan actually does bring mains lol, see how thats ironic? They think its all jokes

Back in the day increasing your ML rapidly was considered NH and disrespectful. Nowadays, theres no clear norms or rules that govern pure clans.
