Was a lot of fun, first time I've led on rs for a while. Thanks for the fight XL
-
Looks like fun, so much addy though haha Good win
-
Looks like a good fight, good job to everyone involved and good fight hostility
-
No clue about political theory but I am interested how my clan would be labelled, probably akin to dictatorship I'm guessing
-
Enemy (NME) is a really good name.. Unbiased, Atrocity, Fatality, Malice, Epidemic
-
GJ guys, the addy seems to be increasing... hahaha
-
Well done guys, looks as though we performed well. Keep it up
-
Nice job, good fight to everyone we fought. See you next week..

Double post sorry
-
No clans have really influenced me per se, when I led Epidemic I was influenced by the members and staff team (Bob, Jib, Plode, Rage Cutter, Scott, Poison et cetera) and in NME I am also influenced by the members and staff team (Ben, Prateek, Sean, Jib, Jatt, Altus et cetera) My clans arnt so much influenced by others, more a clan that INFLUENCES other clans, specifically new clans, and we have done a great job at doing that over the years. In terms of before I was leading properly, Fatality in 07 had a big impact on my future leadership, with Charles and James been personal friends and getting a glimpse into what made Fi such a powerhouse back then.

Nice job looked like fun, hopefully you guys PK more often and help the day to day PK'ing scene grow, getting involved in some of the XL/NME drama to make it more fun

Would be a good fight

Does the pull at the peak really matter? It's how long that peak lasts that matters... Good examples are Epidemic and CP: Does Epidemic really deserve much recognition for pulling 100 a few times then closing? It's basically the same thing as CP did at the beginning of this year but you rank them so much lower. Yes It does matter because that's what this topic is about lol. There's been loads of topics about overall impact and longetivity, so I thought I'd try something different and get discussion about individual clans fighting single fights at the peak of their strength. Hence my ranking of E above those other clans. At Epidemics peak, against CP, epidemic would have won in my opinion. Clearly that much is too difficult a concept for people to understand though, hence the discussion about who's won the most P2P full outs. The fact we're still talkin about E almost 2 years after they closed is enough "longetivity" for me, but needless to say this is not what this topic was intended to be about and the impact and importance of E's time in the clan world can be discussed on another topic

Baha lots of clueless people it seems, a lot of people look very stupid on this topic. Tip for the future, read the topic before posting and embaressing yourselves A quick note about pulls ; of course that's the most important thing when comparing a clans peak vs a clans peak and theorising about who would win in a fight at that point in time, in fact thinking anything else is absolutely ridiculous. The top 5 clans on most peoples lists had equal organisation pretty much so what seperates them? Numbers. This topics probably reached the peak of its discussion anyway, especially when people flame the op because they didn't take P2P longetivity into account when a topic is made about f2p peaks.. Rolleyes

Nice job, should have offered us a fight :) Keep it up

Nice job, looks like MM wrecked saturday

Was a fun trip, first i've attended in a while. 43/65 isn't too bad of a pull though. Good fight to all clans we fought, hope to see you next week

Corrupt Pures Request a Moment of Silence

Good job guys, thanks for the fight -
The topic is based on Peak vs Peak, not legacies or sustained impact on the pure world. 1.) EOP 2.) FOE 3.) MM 4.) E 5.) CP 6.) Fi 7.) TLP 8.) DP 9.) TH 10.) AAO What? It makes perfect sense, pulls are now, and have always been the most important thing in F2P. If Bloody Vikingz pulled 120 at tonights Saturday trip, its stupid to say they wouldn't take #1 for the day. It's called "Top clans of all time" because Im trying to get some discussion going about clan strength at peak. A clans strength at peak is USUALLY when they pulled the most, with obvious exceptions such as having Freelancers at about #13 in my OPINIONATED list Yes as mentioned above, thats the most important element in judging a clans strength at peak, explain to me how thats wrong? SMH, another person who hasn't read the topic. This topic is about clans at their PEAK, A med clan can have the most intense, action packed, ridiculously fun trip EVER, smashing 25 clans and PK'ing for 6 hours straight. It means nothing to this topic because at the end of the day, they pulled 40 people and in a PEAK VS PEAK fight, they'd still lose against anyone on the list. No offence taken, but like I said this topic isn't about legacies its about peak vs peak. Epidemic could be "at the top" for a matter of 3 minutes and they'd still have that spot, because this is about who would win if Epidemics strength for that 3 minutes fought MM's peak strength. Yeah this is about peak vs peak (still), and NMEs spot is bang on due to the 80 pull. Going from brand new clan with a combat cap of 48-65 to an avg level of 82 combat and a top 5 clan for the better part of 2 months, in the space of "4-5 months" is doing quite alot I'd say, not that it matters. The 80 pull would mean if at that point in time we fought anyone below, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we'd win. Needless to say, even if it was about achievements you've ranked CT, TGG (???) higher than AAO, and CT higher than TH.

I seem to remember CP pulling around 110-120 one time when they momentarily gained #1 and were fighting EOP semi regular for a few weeks.. And I don't think TLP have pulled within 30 of that (In F2P at least) If they have pulled in excess of 100 then I'd place them right in front of Fatality

After looking at the newly released forum full of old RT's, I thought itd be an interesting idea to get a few "nostalgic" topics with the intent of getting some discussion going that isn't to do with how **** X rival clan is or how horrendously bad addy is for the future of this thriving game The first one that comes to mind and could be very fun is a topic for discussing the clan power of various clans, new and old. If you fancy yourself as a "pure historian", feel free to do 10-20 clans, should be interesting Keep it flame free too By clan power, I mean clans fighting each other at the moment of their peak in F2P not including anniversary trips Ill go first 1.) EOP - 120+ pull, epic organisation/levels 2.) MM - peaked at around 120 too I think 3.) Epidemic - 120 pull, unparallelled organisation 4.) FOE - don't think they have ever pulled as many as above (90/100 peak maybe?) But organisation and levels means they'd prob beat the below 5.) Fi - pulled 100+ before to trip but that was years ago and a lot has changed since then 6.) CP - despite the ammount of apps etc that one time, still pulled huge 100+ 7.) TLP - I'm fairly sure they peaked in excess of 80 to f2p and obviously have great levels 8.) DP - I may be incorrect but I think their highest pull ever was 80-90 9.) NME - peaked at 80 a while back and are excellent in the wild 10.) Control - I think there was a time they were pulling 70 and they were pretty good in levels/organisation 11.) Zenith 12.) Freelancers 13.) Devastation 14.) IR 15.) Malice Long list, probably forgot about ten clans but that's not the point and hopefully can get some discussion going

ok so your saying foe, eop, tlp, cp all allowed 30 def to keep them from closing? you're delusional I'm not trying to flame or flame bait or anything because this topics actually pretty good, but putting EOP/FOE in the same "group" as CP isn't correct. EOP and FOE have proven that they can be consistently top clans without addy, FOE wear robes on trips and have shown that when they can be bothered they can smash #1 any time of the year. EOP have stopped wearing addy and even though they still got quite alot of mith, have proved that they can be consistently #1 without the use of 30 def armours and without actually relying on their defence to see them through the day. Now, if CP, IR, Zenith, Venom et cetera stopped wearing addy there would be a dramatic decrease in clan strength in the wildy, which simply hasn't happened to EOP/FOE. I don't think its a coincidence that the top 3 clans are all clans that don't use addy on PK trips (FOE/MM/EOP), the leaders are obviously good at what they do or their clans wouldn't be the 3 best in the community and they have realised addy isn't all its cracked up to be. Personally I don't care if the clans my clan compete with wear addy/mith etc, we still have fun and even though we're all in robes/dhide we've proven we can step up and negate the addy/levels with a combination of organisation and numbers, which makes things very fun. Outside of all the trolling etc that my clan partakes in in terms of clans who have different defence requirements, I truly like that not all clans are the same and some accept mith, some accept addy, and believe that the respective leaders can run their clan however they wish Sorry to Omni for hijacking the topic and sorry to anyone reading, the argument i presented above isn't very articulate and probably makes little sense but IM TOO TIRED AND ITS MY BIRTHDAY. Any clans mentioned, don't take it personally pls It really isn't intended that way in this particular instance Now, to stay on topic Above I explained clans can run themselves however they like but for the sake of discussion, I think 35 defence in particular is stupid, but clans will do whatever they can to get the edge on their opponents and quite rightly too. The general consensus is that Mith is "OK" when calling someone a pure, despite the obvious hardliners who don't call anything above 5/10 defence pure. However, with the influx of addy and the changing of the times I think calling this community a "Pure" community isn't correct, the pure clans that exist today are pretty limited (NME with the 10 def cap, MM, TH only accept 20 def I believe) and the other clans that accept addy and wear addy i wouldn't call pure clans, more like turmoil clans obviously inspired by the pure clans in the past. TLDR; 35 defence isn't accepted by "pure clans" and they arn't "pures", its simply evolution of a community thats been around for 7 years
