  2. Some sort of drive and determination to actually succeed in what the clan sets out to achieve
  3. Did you guys read it properly? Its basically changed nothing in the wilderness other than making you respawn more convieniently from my understanding of it
  4. This, all during Epidemic ANY clan wars event we had (Which were two or three weekly preps, 15 vs 15s or whatever) never relied on voice communication, it makes people focus much more on actually doing a good job at warring rather than following orders that arn't always the best calls. Needless to say, wildy is a different story
  5. Nice job, been hearing only good things about you from my brother amongst other people. Keep it up
  6. Plode was pretty funny at his peak
  7. Higher leveled clans ALWAYS used to do this when fighting Epidemic in cw preps, i didn't mind though because it isn't as though its difficult to right click. doubt much will change
  8. Wow, really nice site. Good luck guys
  9. I used to quite like wednesday/thursday preps that were set up on the previous sunday, very fun
  10. Great job, looked like alot of fun too. Hope you guys can bring this level of success to F2P now. By the way, was your 130 members solely MM? Or does that include HF with you as well?
  11. Zenith did well considering where they came from, but I don't think they ever "broke through". Zenith were always considered a decent clan, and closed whilst still being "decent", but not so much in the top tier. Examples of clans that DID break through would be TH from 07ish, DP in '10 and E in '09. Clans that have the potential to break through are pretty limited, Control being a good example of one of them. It'd be great if a low level clan (Much like TH, DP, and E once were) manages to break through and reach the dizzy heights that the previously mentioned clans did, and it'd be even better if a whole new generation popped up and managed to make it (or break it) together. Zenith accomplished much more then Control has and probably ever will :teehee: And Control arn't at the end of their run yet, so instead of assuming and dealing with probability why not wait and see what happens? If we're talking about breaking through as in making a name for themselves and being remembered as achieving success (But not top tier success) then there are a couple of clans around that will achieve that at least ; Control, Negative, possibly Defiance, possibly CPR, all will be remembered for a while after their closure. In terms of breaking through like E did, and TH did, and to lesser extents IR, DP, and Dv did (As in being remembered for a significant ammount of time after their closure with E one and a half years now, TH 3 years until their recent reopening) then my statement still stands, the only clan that really has the potential at this moment in time is Control until other clans show that thats the path they are taking.

  13. They arn't? Divine Hybrids Destined Pures European Elites The Pures Ravage Freelancers KO Pures Brutality Pures Bloody Brains Against All Odds Mayhem Makers Supreme 0wnage I know I'm missing a few but w.e. MM, FOE, TLP, and Fi (In there various incarnations) are pretty much the pioneers and originals of MODERN pure clanning I guess. There is older clans, such as Master of Puppets, Acid, Empire of Pures etc but they can't really be considered clans by how we see them in todays terms.
  14. The "Mid level" clans now are nothing compared to the mid level clans of the past, and that isn't just an opinion either. Compare clans like TR and AAO, DF and DP, Chaotic and DV. All of the clans above (AAO, DP, Dv, and thats just three of many remembered mid clans) had the potential to transcend the boundary from "Mid level" clan to "high level" clan and take #1, #2, #3. Can you really see the mid level clans of today doing that? They're viewed as a neccessity, and when they close they won't be remembered for too long afterwards. Whys this? I don't know enough about them to understand why not, but it probably boils down to silly decisions by staff members who really shouldn't be staff members. Will these mid clans grow with time and actually leave an impact ? I hope so, because the pure world is really lacking in clans that arn't the previously mentioned MM/FI/TLP/FOE/EOP/CP. I mean come on, Epidemic was as mid level as it got and look at where they got, i really can't see the mid level clans at this point in time getting anywhere close to the top 2
  15. It'd be cool if EOP attempted to slowly phase out their addy, I think thats the only thing people give them abuse about. Other than that, EOP are showing they are the dominant #1 clan, looked easy. Good job guys
  16. it wont die, it just evolves. It's already evolved, look at it yourself Other than the old clans that were around in 2005/6 and are still around now (MM/FOE/TLP/EOP/Fi/CP), everyone else has pretty much closed or died. In 06/07/08, the competiton filling out the lower top 10/20 were clans such as TH, AAO, E, Cy, IR, TGG, etc. Good solid clans with decent leadership and a true grasp on what it meant to be a clan. Then there were clans such as Atrocity who were doing there thng, enjoying themselves but quite frankly not very good. Ever since the start of the BH/Pvp world eras and these clans have gone, "modern" clans as I like to call them spring up, such as TR, DF, CH, filling in the gaps that the older clans left. Now, this has always been the story and probably always will be, and it may appear that the pure world is dying, but it clearly isn't and its just changing. Will these "modern" clans EVER achieve the dizzy heights the older clans did? Maybe. Who can say? My personal opinion is that they won't though, absolutely ridiculously stupid leadership decisions and ****** staff means these clans will never be rated as important to the history of pure clans.
  17. Nah, there seems to be enough aussies to make an aussie only (IE, Aussie event times) clan, they'd be able to fight the top clans like EOP and MM and stuff in aussie timezones (albeit probably not very often), the clan would just need to be structured differently. I know mains have alot of aussie based clans that fight GMT clans at around 10AM aussie time, but then again theres alot more of aussies involved in main clans.
