Not worth changing the wilderness now, just cause more reason for change and there really isn't a problem at the moment. Free trade thing however could be interesting and helpful to everyone.

When I was playing RS more (before uni etc) I discussed with a few friends about how easy it would actually be to create a new era of low level clanning more along the lines of the olden 07 (which i still believe was the most successful and competitve era in low level clanning) clans such as The Dreaded, TGG and Epidemic and then even further down the metaphorical food chain such as, and forgive my lack of knowledge if im wrong, Animosity, Future Ownage, et cetera. The low level clan world isn't "dead", its simply in hibernation and I'm sure there will eventually be a Resurgence (anyone see what i did there?) in low level clans that are actually low level, competitive, and not simply poo'er versions of already existing clans who rely on the term "low level clan" to cover up the incompetence of the staff. I've been tempted several times to put effort into proving myself right, but never really got round to it. Personally, its a shame life decided to become important, because Id probably have alot of fun experimenting. oh well, who knows what the future holds..

we did a few of these in E, first one we did was 07 which was epic and then we did one vs Dv in 09 or something, lots of fun and a change to the regular wars

I dont think the clan world is less inactive than other points in time, probably more active if anything. Nice ideas though, wish there were more clanning additions/changes as its a huge part of the game

I seriously doubt a new clan will be able to make as big as an impact so as to challenge the top three. If the stars are aligned so to speak it really isn't difficult to make a big impact, as many clans have shown over the past year or two. Its funny how much of a part reputation does actually play in this community, and i mean both individuals and entire clans. For my clan at least, the fact that Epidemic #1 was a relatively well known old clan, and myself, Jibs, Bob, Plode etc were relatively "known" certainly helped. I'm not saying this was a determining factor in anything, but it definitely sped things up in our mission for "number 1 pure clan". Back to the question, unless a new superclan springs up with successful ex clan leaders or a clan reopens under the same/new name, no, i seriously doubt any clan will touch the top three in any dominant capacity. Regardless, as the past proves anything can happen, and I'm hoping somebody can prove me wrong. Klar

I'm doing Computing in the UK which covers a wide range of stuff such as entertainment computing (Flash etc), Computing Skills (Mainly web development such as mysql/php etc), Software development (Mainly C++), and a few other modules such as computing theory... Tbh i hate it and if i dont get kicked out of uni for not attending I'll 100% change my course next year. With computing courses your timetable is jampacked, little work (Apart from assignments) has to be done outside the timetable as most of its done in tutorials/seminars on top of lectures, so if your not focused 95% on your course your basically in a lot of trouble. goodluck whatever everyone decides to do, its certainly the most fun i've had though outside of my course.
