Remember 9/11

Remember 9/11. 9 years now. Not a place to to debate or rant. I was in school, the 4th grade, the day it happened. I remember seeing it in the library while running books back for the teacher.

Was in my living room playing with Legos and my parents were balling their eyes out because my cousin was near the trade center.

Was in school (3rd grade) and for some reason i didn't look out the window at all that day ( i usually do =p )

Would of seen it for sure since the WTC was just in the distance.

I believe I was in the 3rd grade, and I heard it on the Radio. That video was quite sad. Made me very sad seeing that man falling from the building.

2nd grade and my teacher just starts crying in the middle of class and we're like wtf. and then we turn on the news and just do nothing all day.

I was on summer vacation, visiting in Michigan. I remember sitting there watching t.v and my mom was crying :S

5th grade and all these kids kept getting called home i was like da fuk?

4th grade, in the library. our teacher got called out and she grabbed all of her stuff and ran out of the room in tears. we weren't told what had happened until we got home, but we found out our teacher had a close relative who worked in New York. I walked in after school and my parents were both standing watching the news and they looked at me and I didn't know what happened and they asked "Do you want to talk about it?" or something along those lines. I was hella confused for a few seconds.

3rd grade in class just chillen den da teacher turn da tv on and day told us go home early

I was home about to go to bed and then the news comes in so I'm stuck watching the news for a few hours, and of course we talked about it at school for like a week afterwards.

 

Then bush declared war on terrorism and I was just like "well played sir"

truly shocking, something like this should never be joked about even in jest.

 

rest in peace to all the victims of 9/11 and condolences to their familes.

Kind of off topic, but Reign Over Me is a great movie where Adam Sandler plays a guy whose family was killed on one of the planes on 9/11. Check it out if you can :thumbsup:.

I was in 6th grade computer class, teacher put it on and we watched the news all day. Sad sad day.

6th grade, I will never forget the shocking scenes from the news that my teacher was too slow to change on the TV.

4th grade. Mom picked me up from school.

I was in the 3rd grade and I was at school. It was early in the day and we didn't really watch the news when it happened. But, when I did find out I was shocked by the most unbelievable thing ever happening.

I'm sorry to all those who died and everyone who had relatives and friends there. I'm truly sorry for you.

Sixth grade. Kids kept getting called out and sent home and then they ended school early for the day. No one said what happned till I got home n watched the news. I just watched it for hours.. It was really sad

I Too was in school not knowing what really was happening in 2nd grade. All of my teachers were crying and I had no clue why.

Second grade, but I don't really remember much about my reactions or anything.

I was ditching school that day, found out when I got home. I also found out when I got home that school ended early. So I got caught/grounded.

 

I remember feeling afraid. Every day I woke up for the next week I was expecting news of another attack.
