SOTW Rule (shit)

There's a new rule that was put into effect by Benjamin^^ and Omni that says there "can't be any suggestive or softcore SOTW themes"

 

This rule means that there can't be a "Female" theme or a "Male" theme, which doesn't make any sense. You can't have a theme based on a gender. If people are stupid enough to make a sexual signature, then they should be banned/suspended. Everyone on the forums is at least 13, so I'm sure we can handle anything softcore.

 

According to urban dictionary, the definition of softcore is "Pornographic material that does not show penetration, genitalia, or actual sexual activity, opposite of hardcore."

 

This means that any breasts or the crotch area cannot be shown. That's fine, we understand. This doesn't mean we can't have a SOTW theme based on the gender of a person.

 

Like I said, if people break the rules, then give them their punishment.

 

A good suggestion would be to moderate any images/replies posted in the SOTW threads. That way they can't be seen by any members unless staff approve.

I must say, I do agree. Any themes containing nudity and such, can be removed quite easily. I see no need for this rule, should never of been put into place. Hopefully you're reading this Ben and Omni.

I have read you're whole topic.. Like i was saying, I am pretty sure the only reason they enforced this rule was to prevent the problem before it is even put to place. (So we don't need to edit people's posts and remove the pic in the first place.)

The first one with the popsicle was pretty bad but the one made after was completely fine, wasn't showing anything at all except two good looking females, which was the topic.

so those that post such things should be banned without warning.. anyone whos stupid enough and imature to keep on doing it will get their punishment.

Phillip I was ok with softcore but other admins was not so i just backed there idea up tbh I am 20 I dont give a **** about seeing a bit nipples etc, but I enforce the rule for the younger members. In any case if you wish to post a sig that you may think can get you in trouble just ask a staff member before hand like me or hatton or karl or any mod.
