I never knew him, but from the reply s on this topic it seems he was genuinely a nice guy, and judging from him going to Cambridge he probably had a bright future ahead of him, such a tragic story, rip.

Being a clan leader, I often wonder the circumstances for unexplained absences. The thought of death has rarely crossed my mind but it has always been buried in there somewhere. I too could not believe it at first, but after checking his emails through ACP and searching on FaceBook I found that it was him.

very true, but you can't make that judgement being in the stable mind state you're currently in.

 

I used to have similar views towards suicide but trust me life events can mess a person up soo much.

 

Depression and a feeling of no where to turn lead to very very dark times not only taking a physical toll on your body but also a very large mental one.

 

It literally messes up your thought process and you aren't thinking straight.

 

I truly feel for him.

George Truly Was a great guy, i've speaked to him before, he was very respectful, funny and a great part of the Fi Community, Sad to see him go.
