What would happen to the pure clan world

Right so we've been hearing about botted accounts having certain stats reset by Jagex and they claim it's a glitch. Now what if it's not a glitch, what if they are simply testing a future update? Jagex are known to dislike pures because they hurt Runescape's promise to players that you can do everything with one single account without having to stop and make a new one. So, what if Jagex plans to circumnavigate this problem by letting players 'backtrack' their stats, or in other words temporarily lower their stats to do things such as PK at lower combat levels?

 

Would you train defence?

 

What would happen to the pure clan world, would it be enhanced by the boosted presence of 'fake pures' or would it diminish because everybody would decide to train defence?

Won't even happen but I'd say it would destroy the game.

 

It's not a glitch, it's what Jagex is doing to counter the botting of stats.

If I knew I could get a reset, I'd definity get the defence. Bonus' would me mad with low defence/combat.

Obvious:

The pure world would be dead as it will start with people training defence and backtracking to 1 defence for the first few weeks for trips/etc. Clans start losing wars and they stop caring about the backtrack part and just fight with the 50 def or 70 def they have

It's a cover up, Jagex is making these super pures and soon they will make a clan and rule the pure world :P

I mean it is "unfair" but its jagex's fault its "unfair" so if they had some common sense they wouldn't go straight out and "ban" these accounts, they should make it so you need the defence level for the quest def reqs to weild the item.

 

Simple going out and banning these accounts for a problem that isn't there's is going to lose them ALOT of players, people are getting reset who don't bot and are "suspected" of botting, if suspicion is enough proof to ban an account then Jagex are just overall idiots, like i said they should patch up the quests so you can't use the items, ie curses/bgloves/cannon/veng etc, it isnt a "bug abuse" either because Jagex made the accounts like this and people are playing the way it seems Jagex want them to play.

dont think people will do it, it's not 100% on what stats you get etc.
