It's not that bad. Most tasks I pray anyways, so the difference in 30 def and 1 def is the difference between Proselyte and Monk Robes. The only annoying parts about 1 Defence Slaying is the tasks that require Mirror Shield (Cockatrice and Basilisks) and also your lack of a Black Mask / Slayer Helmet. I'd still advise you try it.

Slaying at 1 defense is the most fun any pure could have. I love it try it Am0n. Make sure you do Hollow smoke or w/e the quest is to get slayer points other wise you don't get a sense of reward other than xp, and drops.

 

I use the points to cancel the 20 def tasks hella mentioned as well as get some free death runes :).

When you have the levels & points just block them for good also making sure you never have to reset Slayer points ever again if you're below 20 Def.
