all of their vlog videos from when dung was released to the occult and final floors shown the new hits splats being used when they where testing it. i gaurantee after testing so much dungeoneering, they thought knowing what the monsters and bosses styles of attack where was so helpfull; they added it to the game. sure it's good for pvm like they tested it in, but they didn't consider multi pvp at all

Would be great if Jagex made these updates optional. If people could go into their graphics options and toggle from Plain Hitsplat to Detailed Hitsplat as they pleased, it'd be phenomenal.
