secondly, everyone in #fatality has been getting phish pm's from people pretending to be HELLA and Davey with slightly different nicks. elit3 has been constantly highlighting everyone telling them to not click anything. - if anything, elit3 probably got the host name, seen z or w/e clan name that was used in the host from the guy posing as hella, went in the chat and spammed it back in there out of anger. cos elit3 has been on watch this whole week pissing people off with hl's telling them not to click anything. i'm sorry but rofl.. elit3 doesn't know how to phish mate

Tbh it's a simple thing you can avoid if you know a few tips and advice. Instead of all the hassle we should have topics and guides on how NOT to get phished.

It’s just down to the leaders/tank to warn their members about phishing and how they can then tell what the difference is between a normal official website and a fake one.

If each clan makes a topic that clearly demonstrates the above, and makes sure that each member reads it, it won’t have a huge affect on the pure community.

It's not really a secret. There are a few main phishers. It's basically Elit3 Bser from Fi, A few members from CP (Joey) and a few kids from #Cd.

 

Logan and Kj haven't phished in a few months now. If it's anyone from Zenith, then it's probably any kids who join from Trilogy (Palidino Server/Battlescape clan), but even then leaders have a talk with them. A few days ago, Inigma/Dripz tried phishing CT, but the very next morning in vent, Josh and Ryan spoke with them. It's not like it's not being taken care of...

 

And yeah, 101, if you think two different people can have the same hostmask, you shouldn't be leading a clan. You're probably infested with spies if you think that's the case ;)
