If you really didn't want mains crashing you could try doing it in the new ranked clan wars, it allows 500 vs. 500. Then again it wouldn't be as fun because of all of the rules it currently has.

Gdz is possibly the easiest place to return to in the whole wilderness.

 

Good place would be the tree next to spider hill where all the main wars take place. Means that one team gets gdz to return to, one gets the river system at mossies etc or even mage bank.
