* You must send your entry to host, if posted on topic or anywhere else - piece will be disqualified

 

Why? - Keeps all entries honest & ideas will be original.

SOTM Rules

* The maximum size for entries is 500 Width x 200 Height or 200 Width x 500 Height (in pixels).

* Entries may only be changed ONCE if you wish to change a submission.

* All entries must be submitted before the deadline and any submitted after will not be entered into the voting.

* The entry must be newly created specifically for Signature of The Week on Pure Warfare

* Any image containing offensiveness to races or religions will be removed from the forums and dealt with accordingly.

* Any nudity on Warfare is STRICTLY prohibited, the same applies to Signature of The Week and will result in your signature being removed and you will be dealt with accordingly.

* No signatures created on any form of 'Paint' will be submitted into the voting stages.

* You must send your entry to host, if posted on topic or anywhere else - piece will be disqualified.

 

 

** Any pornographic/hentai images will not be entered and the poster, banned without warning. This is a forum for children too! **

Also Aidan I think you should mention they shouldn't put their names on the piece otherwise it beats the whole point.

 

Although I have been contemplating this, I think I'm gonna leave that up to the artist, the last few winners have been (no offence) Pure Warfare no-namers. So I have yet to see biased votes come in. I think everyone who has won has won for a reason and people haven't been basing it off who they are but what they've done, which is fine with me. Though, people do seem to be judging based on looks rather than graphic elements contained in a tag.

@Pink; I wasn't mad at all, In fact I encourage people taking inspiration from my art, it's definitely been the best way I learned, but I think that SOTM shouldn't be inspired by another entry. Think of it like a pumpkin growing contest, handing over your secret grow ingredient for a massive pumpkin to your rivals. Not saying that SOTM is a rivalry of any sort, but it is a competition nonetheless. Tags being the pumpkin + elements of your tag being secret grow ingredient. Cheesy analogy, I'm aware.

 

@Coz; I don't usually find my inspiration from other peoples tags, the only people I've been inspired to make a tag because of was OxY, Gloryfx & I Connor I. I usually rely on music or personal emotions to supply inspiration. Though, I see how you could come to this conclusion, but I can comfortably say I will not sit and wait on people to send in entries for my inspiration & refuse to use anything they've created fueling my tag in anyway, though If I happen to be inspired, I'll just make it off to the side for personal learning & fun. I aim to keep always keep my SOTM tags original.

 

Hope this cleared stuff up, no flame intended.
