To be honest I don't think you should have to pay out of your own pocket to run this site. I don't ever click on advertisements cause there pointless. I say if those advertisements are keeping this site going you should still allow them.

Agreed. I don't think removing the advertisements is needed, after all it helps paying for this site. Warning in the news section should do it IMO. I'd say its only 5-10% of the users of PW that check out the advertisement and very few got issue from it.

 

Perhaps make a poll? Lets see the majority of the communities opinion on this sht.

For those unaware, you don't even have to actually click the advertisement to be infected. I was probably one of the first, if not the first to be infected, and I never clicked an advertisement. I just restored my computer to the previous update though.
