Every clan has a clan or two they are considered to be "cool" with, if not allied, including TLP. Your leaders not telling you or letting it be known is a different story.

No clans are allies lol, people stopped treating this community as a community a long time ago. If a clan is trying to befriend you they either...

 

1. Need help against another clan.

2. Suspect you are closing and want your members.

 

Although there are a few true friendships left, the above explains the reasons for most of them.
