72 hours ago BV approached us for an F2P Prep that would take place on July 25th. We agreed upon these rules:

20+ matched numbers.

1 def cap.

Overs on.

Everything else off.

At first we were skeptical about our pulling seeing as a lot of our members said no due to work, but as massing time rolled around TH found ourselves with a pleasant 26 warriors ready to battle.

Given our past week of preps we felt capable of beating this BV squad who have also had some success in preparation fights. At 4 EST BV came to caketown and we welcomed them.

TH Starting: 24

BV Starting: 24 (sat two, thanks for matching us in this round BV)

 

Fight started with BV rushing us at our wall. The fight started off in a territory battle in which BV took a slight edge and made a push. BV seemed to be getting some quick Ko's.

Upon this we decided to regrouped back at our trees and re-focused ourselves and clashed once more with BV.

This time we even'd it out and BV fell back to the other side of the wall once again turning it into a territory range battle.

But TH's binding, and piling quickly overpowered a well rounded BV clan and gave us the round 1 win.

TH Starting : 26

BV Starting: 26

For our attacking round BV set up in the very corner of their base, which worked to our advantage. From the start we kept it a territory fight and quite honestly held complete control thanks to our amazing callers in TS.

For some reason BV decided to try and run through us and out the other side for what ever reason, in which time we dropped 5 of their members with out losing anyone. They did this again, and we took that to our advantage. Got a few binds and some kos.

I'm not sure what exactly they were trying to pull off but it allowed us to establish complete control and take the series winning victory handedly. Thanks for the fight.

TH Starting: 23 (sat from 25)

BV Starting: 23

 

Round 3 started with a clash near the middle of the map. And again for some reason, BV ran right through us to the other side of the map allowing us another handful of free kills. It seemed pretty even for about 10 seconds,

but our binders and callers got the best of them. This round was amazing as our snipers and binders got one of the fastest KO's I have ever seen.

 

Once in the lead we never looked back and took the 3-0 sweep dropping only 4 people.

A dark sun set tonight. Members cowering in fear, ranks logging out and teamspeak filled with the crashing of tears. Bloody Vikings had challenged us to a F2P Prep.

The admin board only posed one question; Accept or Disband the clan?

After a talk with Oidwildy, he came up with a solution; A 1 def Cap.

 

Genius.

 

24 Vikings arrived on our shores, longboats at the ready. But not tonight. Tonight, we would defend our ancient burial ground, in the name of Caketown.

Bloody Vikings, tonight you did not pass.

 

Starting opts.

Caketown Inhabitants: 24

Murderous Vikings: 24

 

Roars were heard. Children were killed and women were forced into doing unspeakable acts. We lost many fine warriors, and a total of 13 Scimitars found themselves without wielder.

The day was ours. But at what cost?

We knew it was time. Our bows scattered from the previous fight, we found ourselves at the doorsteps of the Vikings homeland. This is where we would make a push. For our lost loved ones, for our children, and for the future of caketown, this is where we fought.

A total of 4 brave warriors lost the will to fight. Their fathers did not celebrate today. Their mothers shall not find comfort in the empty crib that hides in their attic.

There it was. Shattered our forces were, and we found ourselves on the barren lands of Kae'l Atharet. Native land of 313, head of the vikings. Father of the Normen and shelterer of Terrors. Here our arrows would crash, here the remainder of our army would feel the wrath of the vikings. Here, we would struggle for survival.

We shall honor the brave warriors who were slain in this battle. For as valiantly as they fought, they would never again feel the warm embrace of freedom.

We have defeated the Mighty Vikings, but for how long? Will the fight ever really be over?
