Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened. No other generation can say that they flew in a flying car, fought a snake, got beaten up by a tree, befriended a werewolf, walked into houses that don't exist, flew on a broom, had a pet owl and fought a dragon. No other generation can say that they caught the snitch, snuck out at night, befriended a giant or went back in time. Nobody else will have had the same 3 best friends throughout their whole childhood, or a family that loved them as much. Nobody else will have been to 2 different schools, one normal, and one magical. We've faced death more times than anyone can imagine, and have had a few bumps along the way. We've faced our worse fears, wether they be spiders, dementors or voldermort himself. We've stayed up all night reading harry potter books, and weve waited in the rain for hours to get them. We've talked about the films and have stood dressed up as our favourite characters in queues that go on for miles just to see them. We've written to J.K Rowling herself, wether that be to thank her for our childhood, or demand that she writes another book. Harry Potter taught us to read, to write, to take a chance, to go on an adventure, to make mistakes, to learn from them, to fall in love, to learn, to trust, and to forgive. Harry Potter will always be there, written down or on a screen, to remind us of the good times, to teach us, and to bring back memories. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home, offer us an escape, and remind us of what life is really about. we are the Harry potter generation.
