Tito Ortiz was coming off this first win in 6 years. Rashad Evans was coming off a 14 month layoff. Surprisingly, the fight lived up to the fight as both Tito and Rashad looked game. Evans was clearly the better fighter, but Ortiz still offered legitimate threats and stayed out of significant trouble until Evans landed a devastating knee to the chest in the second round. Ortiz couldn’t recover and Evans finished him. The contest won Fight of the Night honors at UFC 133.

 

Vitor Belfort devestated Yoshihiro Akiyama tonight at UFC 133 in Philadelphia. Happy trails Sexyama. Akiyama has now lost three straight fights in the UFC. For Vitor, it was a huge win coming off an embarrassing loss to Anderson Silva in February

 

Brian Ebersole and Dennis Hallman faced off at UFC 133 tonight. It was an especially notable fight because Hallman fought in a thong and Ebersole shaved an arrow into his chest hair. When it was all said and done, Ebersole got revenge for all the fans with HD televisions as he landed some vicious elbows to finish Hallman in the first round.

I was a bit disappointed a bit the the Akiyama fights, but I bet other people were disappointed when Belfort got koed by Silva, Belfort is coming back with a vengeance :D

 

Rashad fight was pretty entertaining. The beginning was quite even with both of them feeling it out but then Rashad's heart and training pulled it off

 

All in all great event, wish the fights were a bit longer though :)
