Everyone has suggestions and ideas for RuneScape. Ways to improve certain aspects of the game, of even major updates, such as a new quest. I have been asked buy Jagex to post a topic in order to gain new ideas from you guys. If it's a simple idea and can be quickly implemented in the game (should Jagex see fit to do so), then there's a large chance that it could actually happen.

 

That being said, I know a lot of ideas will be thrown around so perhaps once a month I will set up a vote to see which suggestions you like the best. I will then submit the top 10 (maybe more, depending on how many ideas are submitted), to Jagex for them to review them.

Brief Description:A way to lock a skill so you can't manually train it by accident.

I forwarded the limits to Jagex. New maps take a lot more time and effort so I'm not entirely sure it's something Jagex will look in to right now. The limits however should be an easy change, even if they just change it to 200 or so. I'll let you know when I get a reply.

Piece of game content concerned?: Pking in the wilderness.

 

Brief Description: They should give you a 10 second countdown when you killed someone, giving you time to loot, pray pot, eat, etc. Also, they should remove the PJ system, it's driving everyone nuts. It ruins the game :'(

Brief Description:

Create something in the wilderness to draw members to go into the wild, the wild is empty unless you are in worlds like 18. All worlds should have some sort of pking going on. Maybe create a new boss in the wilderness to draw other types of people into the wild, giving the wilderness that Scary feeling again, like it used to have for those trying to kill the new boss.

Brief Description: Capes that show off the number of 99s you've achieved, similar to Milestone Capes. Pures would be capable of unlocking these as you don't need to train every skill (defence).

Brief Description: Rather re-typing the player name who broke a rule in game, you can go through your logs and click on that person and easily report right away.

Brief Description:

Instead of logging in by just clicking the click to play button on the lobby, you have to put in your bank pin if u have one, that way no one cna log onto your account unless they have your bank pin as well. Lets say your hacked, well they need to know your pin as well, just another way to stop being hacked.

Brief Description: Lets say someone is attempting to hack you, or log into your account without you knowing, maybe 5 failed log in attempts you receive a email stating that someone was attempting to log into your account, and that you should change your password as soon as possible.

Add PvP worlds back in but w/o the old PvP rules, keep the wildy rules

Brief Description: Worlds similar to 124 and 137, where you cannot protect item, but the effect on this world is that you cannot teleport while inside the wilderness.

 

Would hugely increase wilderness activity, would make real pking easier/fun.

I like this one a lot. Karl send this to Jagex, easy fix and should have been done when clan cloaks came out.

Brief Description: a 20 second cap, to stop players from going multi wilderness to single or opposite

If it's a small change, which would help out a lot and not take long to do, Jagex would consider it more than a full idea for a Quest. As long as they see fit to add the change(s).

Suggestion Name: New Ancient Magicks Spells

Piece of game content concerned?: Spellbooks?

Brief Description: As of now, the Ancient Magicks are consistent of attack spells, and teleports, whilst the other two books also include enchanting spells, alchemy, cure spells, vengeance, etc.

 

Would also be nice if pures could access the new spells. ie: the quest that releases them doesn't involve getting def exp or needing defense
