EoP turns 6: And celebrates by smashing everything

It's been six long years since Old P K 3 R and The Harv came together and created the Eruption of Pures, but today on our biggest trip of the year, we set out with over 100 people and proved that we are still the best. MM had 2 week sign ups to ruin this day for us, the biggest prep i've seen them give to a pk trip, and we knew we would be in for a hell of a fight. After a very controversial fight with MM yesterday, we were totally focused on making no mistakes today, and taking an unquestionable victory. MM threw everything they could at us, but today we stood tall and showed why we are the #1 F2P clan, clearing MM twice, as well as picking up a few smaller victories along the way, and ending with a 100M drop party (thanks Fear One for providing the drops!).

Thanks to all the clans who have given us action over the past 6 years, dead and alive, and most of all thanks to every dedicated EoP member that showed up today and made our success possible.

Eruption of Pures vs Intense Redemption

We were waiting at piper for MM to come out of single, when IR suddenly rushed us from the northeast. Apparantley it was an accident seeing as they had less than half our pull, so we quickly mopped them up and headed east to single strip to get a fall in.

Eruption of Pures vs Mayhem Makers

We headed back out to multi and were rushed by some **** team of mains, just as we were yesterday. We began killing them, but coincidentally MM logged in a few maps north of us just as the mains rushed us, so we got to bh steps and re-organized ourselves for a proper fight.

We walked over to the trees just northeast of spider village and prepared for MM's rush. MM rushed from the north of the trees and the battle began, roughly 105 v 105, with MM taking an early advantage and pushing us south. We fell back but hadn't dropped many, and slowly we pushed it back, with our callers screaming into their mics and everyones fingers going numb with spamming, we had no idea whether or not we were winning as MM were so spread and the map was covered in white dots. We kept compact and took out section after section, pushing MM back into the trees, and then out north where they tried to drag back and get us spread. We made sure we moved up as a unit, ko'ing their front lines and soon MM were walking not running away. They headed west to try turn it into a return fight from mossies, but unlike them yesterday we didn't just run off, we chased them down like dogs and hacked them back to edgeville. The remaining MM at the scene were pushed up the northeast steps, and we heard MM had called off returning. We marched down to edgeville and celebrated an epic victory, both clans giving it everything and us coming out on top.

We headed back out and heard Fi and a few other clans were involved in a cluster around spider village, so we logged out just south of the fight and rushed up. We saw mainly Fi, although a few blue capes were also around, and we killed everything in sight, looted and dipped.

We were desperate for another fight with MM, but they'd spent the last 15 minutes in single after crashing some low level clans. We got tired of waiting and rushed them around level 24 east drags, where a fairly boring 1v1 ensued. After about 3 minutes of fighting, MM all suddenly pulled west to multi, and defended the northeast volcano. We immediately followed them giving them no chance to recouperate, and dropped all the MM on the east side of the hill. They pulled west to the next hill, and then west to the next one, and then south to sperm hill, while we got 5-6 kills each time without taking any damage. We knew they were pulling south for a return fight, but as we've gone for 5 hours in the past we didn't really give a ****.

We chased them down to ghost hut and killed pretty much all of them, but we heard their regroup was inside the chaos altar. Not stopping once, we continued down to CA like a wave and smashed into the MM that were in there, but seeing as CA is our strongest fight spot it was extremely one sided, with MM being forced to run out of the altar west within moments, and we chased them all the way down to level 1 edgeville and laughed as they hopped the ditch and exited our wilderness.

We got word that CP, Fi and EF were duking it out around near corp, and seeing as 2 of our favourite clans were there, we couldn't help but drop in and say hi. We rushed in from the northeast and it looked like Fi had already pretty much cleared CP, so we killed all of them then wandered around and looted. Then out of the blue EF rushed us with balls high, and we killed them too.

Seeing as MM had dropped to below 80 people and ended, we decided we would follow suit and end after this, with a bs fest at corp. Then we went had a lovely celebratory drop party hosted by Fear One, and headed back to our POH's to discuss tale's of bravery and feats of awesomeness from our trip today. The celebrations will certainly be continuing tomorrow, and i hope to see you all there (especially TLP) :)
