What recording software do you use? I could tell you an easy fix for the black sides if you use Camtasia.. /query ydoc on IRC

I used hypercam bc camtasia isn't working for me atm for some reason....And I vidded in fullscreen and have two monitors so idk if that played a part in it also. What is ur fix though?

Change the dimensions on Camtasia to 1280x720 (Youtube HD) and then on the beginning of each of the clips in your project select the Zoom and Pan option. Then right click on the Zoom and Pan screen and select "Snap to video edges".

I use to have this same problem when i use to record , you should let me pm you in a week when i start to record/edit my first pk vid :)
