They're making a shitload of revenue from it I don't see why they would close it they're only option if they want to keep making money off it is to accommodate to its players. Until everyone stops paying for their membership, it will keep going...

They wont just shut it down on a random date.

 

When they make a game that is MORE succesfull then they will shut it down, or just let it die itself. That is going to be very tough to create though, if i had to guess i'd say 3-7 years.
