What makes your clan accept addy?

For P2P it's obviously why. But for F2P? Why does your clan use it? Do you personally like it?

 

Foe and Eop for example don't use addy anymore in F2p because it doesn't give them any offensive or prayer bonusses. So why does your clan allow it? Since it has it's pro's and con's.

People use addy because other clans use addy. You can't deny the offensive bonuses of it, and if a clan didn't use against a clan that did use it; they would get smashed simply because they are at a disadvantage.

not sure, really. i think foe and eop have the right idea with the monk robes to prove they do not need addy for winning wars, but other clans i'm not sure. my clan is notorious for addy; but i still find it a bit repulsive nowadays, even while the (short) time i was 30 def, i felt like i was cheating somehow lol
