I downloaded the game for my laptop, and I've been having a lot of fun playing it.

 

That is, until I came across the console commands. Now anytime I get to a difficult part of the game, I usually succumb to the temptation to navigate around it.

 

1. ****, I don't wanna start this boss over... Activate invincibility!

 

2. Man I'm short on gold... Let me just add a few thousand...

 

3. How do I open this door?! I'll just turn off clipping...

 

4. Such a far walk! I'll just teleport...

 

5. Can't unlock this door! Sending unlock command...

 

 

 

 

 

Pretty sure I ruined the game for myself.

You're a tool, play it like a man (hundreds of saves). From what I've played (Beaten DB and College quest lines), I like Oblivion better. The DB quest line lacked a large amount of imagination. It was simply kill this person, possibly do something minor to gain a small bonus. There was only one quest where you had an option to kill someone without actually attacking them. As for the College of Winterhold quests, they lacked the aim of the Mages' Guild of Oblivion. All I remember doing is joining, finding a few items in random locations, and killing some random guy. Also, from what I've heard the Daedric quests aren't as good either.

Quests aren't extravagant, College quests could have been better, but im a High elve summoning tank, come at my nuts bros

yeah, i ruined many games like that when I was younger. game sharks + cheat engine made many fun games unbearable without the cheats.

Starcraft 2 / Brood War is the only game I can say I love other than rs.

 

Whenever I feel dumb by playing too much rs ( it does that to you btw), I hop on to sc2. Way more strategy involved, much more thinking and tons less time consuming

 

And the people who play it : 100x nicer than rs community + maturity for good measure
