Stop Homophobia

Today COC's Gay-Straight Alliance Network organised it's 2nd Purple Friday. On this day the organisation asked everybody (students and teachers) to wear purple at school as a statement against homophobia. They also handed out purple wristbands/bracelets.

I ofcourse dressed up in purple and got a bracelet :)

Yeah I haven't heard of it, but I have a purple shirt and would have worn it if I knew. Done with classes now so yeah.

Meh. You are not going to change a persons mind who hates gay people by dressing up in purple and wearing a bracelet. Only going to get hated more by him and prolly by others aswell.

Yeah we had this one day as a "facebook event" and since my school has uniforms everyone who actually wore purple got friday detentions and in school suspensions... Kind of messed up eh?

i'm fine with you being gay and **** in your private time and where i can't see you, but when it comes to being married by law and raising a child, no. i don't like it at all.

 

sooner or later they will win the rights to gay marriage, but i hope to god they aren't allowed to raise a child. for the sake of the child's social well being..
