Leaders of clans that allows 30 def for offensive bonuses should be doing this anyways. I personally see no purpose in wearing steel-addy armor in pure fights, unless you really need some backup for your tanking ability, then that is a different story.

well I'd personally propose all the clans that actually abide by pure clanning rules:

 

- Only accept 1 - 20 def

 

- No turmoil

 

- AN HONOR CODE

 

etc ...

 

go and create their own community.

The first topic was because lpc's are opening, and the rest were made in response. If you look at the patterns of these forums, when there is 1 defence topic, more are usually created. Really has nothing to do with Pot, seeing as the people mostly making them don't fight them.

Thanks for the more-input-than-most reply.

 

I doubt that POT has any reason with this wave of 30 def posts. From what this community has witnessed the only successful thing that POT has achieved so far is actually getting preps vs "pure" clans (who, if i remember correctly, went on to proclaim that they won't be prepping POT due to disrespectful behaviour).

 

The winter slump clan (who had a 7+ kdr last saturday) is arguably the most successful pure clan ever.

 

 

The only reason all the "lower lvl clans" accept addy is to be able to compete with the HPC's who started the trend of accepting addy because they were slumping so hard that they were getting cleared by "lower lvl clans", turmoil's just an excuse.

If Clans ever ban 30 defence there will be ATLEAST 1 Clan, probably multiple ones that stick to 30+ Defence that will get a massive boost of Members, that's what Clans mainly fear and that's why no big Clan is ever gonna make the first step.

30 defence is gonna stay whether you like it or not, if **** was gonna change it would have happened already.

 

PoT has nothing to do with 30 def topics either, PoT are garbage, just a bunch of mains that hunt pures lmao, and they still lose...the only thing they may possibly be good at is crashing pure fights, they wouldn't dare go fight other mains because they would get merked.

foe has been using 1 def gear for f2p trips since before summer, eop only just now followed behind

Which is why I used FOE as an example :thumbsup: I seriously admire that you did that.

 

Sadly, however, from what I recall, this did not get enough publicity. Had this been plastered all across the boards, imho, more clans would've followed suit. :/
