Xbox360 = 199$ BUT, you don't get a headset, or an ethernet cable, AND you can't play old Xbox games,

 

So, in other words, the only possible way to compete with the PS3 would be to buy the elite, which costs 299$ as well. However, guess what? You have to deal with Xbox Live, AND you have to have a modem/ethernet cable in order to get on it. Enjoy paying an extra 50$ a year while i get on the internet for free on my PS3.

 

And I have yet to mention the 360's TERRIBLE failure rate.

 

Oh, and the PS3's exclusives are just as good as, if not better than the 360's.

 

Anything else?

seeing how xbox 360s are now $300 and less more people will buy the 360 now better games and better online. So eh you can fix your 360 on your own so it will stop acting up, thats what i did and it works perfectly

360 does not have better games. Better online, maybe. But PS3's is still free.

I've always like the Xbox console over the Playstation so I would choose Xbox 360 over any console any day.

2) Failure rate fixed, due to faulty mechanics that Microsoft fixed. Failure rate drop

The new Ps3 "slim" get's rid of backwards compatibility so good fight to that argument.
