Does this fall under clan discussion? Now that I've fixed the topic up maybe not, but seeing as this is the most active facet of this site, I reckon it belongs here.

 

In lieu of all the recent pure hackings in MM, FOE, EOP, and any other clan:

UPDATE: I fixed the topic up- it revolves around the Pure Community, not just the plight of one pure. I also added the idea of a combat XP level lock, because in the over 9000 years that RS has existed they still haven't figured out this idea by themselves- so I figured we could tell them about it.

 

Do us all a huge favor, and if you're a massive roller then get your +1 on RS forums style and pledge your support to an idea that could make RuneScape more ownage for us all!

(besides, it's not like we have anything better to do other than argue about defence etc etc)

I didn't post this as a means of creating arguments about who hacked who and why. Unfortunately, hackings generally draw retaliation and I'm not saying I think that's a good thing- I clearly don't and that's why I wrote up the post. If something like this were to actually be introduced into the game, we wouldn't have to worry about stupid incidents like this or retaliations, and I think it would do the game and us a whole lot of good.

why didn't I see this when 13th R4nger hacked Solo K1ng's account for 40 defence? it was a hijacking correct? and Solo K1ng had been playing just as long?

 

OT: Supported due to the fact it really does suck to get hacked, and it could benefit pures in the future if you gain anything out of this.

Refer to my last post, I'd have just as apply supported a topic in regards to that as I would this one. Just remember that unfortunately, it often times takes something having to hit close to home before you can come to understand the true immensity of a problem. That being said, there really should have been a topic like this even before that, for the MM applicants that were hacked before that fiasco went down, but again that arrow didn't fall so close to me (lol rs reference :DD:D:D:D)

im pretty sure i recall after any foe members got hacked there was always a topic on your boards lolling at them.

 

in one case a guy made a topic whilst hacking a foe member and asked what to do on the acc, many of ur members replied get def and drop chaotics.

This isn't about your clan and it's not about some stupid rivalry; not everything revolves around you Walli. It's about making a change that could do something to fix this pure community and the attitude that surrounds it.

 

Our clans have had a history of stupid **** going back to before I started this game (last year), but none of that goes into this post. If I had wanted to call you or your clan out, I wouldn't have done it with a topic like this. Feel free to go ahead and draw attention to yourself and this topic, but it's not going to do anything to influence the fact that this is something that the Pure Community should be united on- if nothing else, at least this.

You generalize everything and you make everything about you. So in turn, you just treat other people like **** to try and fulfill some distorted sense of self-purpose that you clearly lack. Regardless, I wasn't the one laughing and neither were the majority of my clanmates; we're not the same clan that we were a year ago, three years ago, six months ago, yesterday. To think that way would be to continue the cycle that's brought PW to this point.

 

If another clan had called for help, we'd obviously swoop in to help just like we do whenever any pure clan's TS gets ddosed on any given weekend. But in this topic, I'm not asking you to help my clan and I'm not asking you to help me- I'm talking about the community in general. You'd have understood that by now if you read my post instead of wasting your time trying to come up with ways to spur on arguments, some elite member you are.
