Can't really comment on the legens from when the pure community was young, but as for the modern era it doesn't get much more influential than Goop, the only clan leader who has been able to move a clan into long-term competition with FOE/MM as part of a top 3, and as a result numerous clans now just seem to copy whatever Goop does.
