Just out of curiosity, how many people who app and join your clan are new to the pure community?

I'm not asking you to go through the last months worth of apps and get me an exact number.

But have a guestimate how many people who join haven't been in any pure clans before rather then being the same recycled members who hop around clans or go from failed attempt at a clan to the next one.

 

Or is the game in at a state where pures are not viable and the few made are not interested in clanning.

Or is it that any person who is new to the pure world is automatically thought of as a spy and ends up declined.

Considering we're in the same clan you know we only get one maybe two in about a month. Sometimes more though not often.

 

I could be wrong seeing as how I have a horrible memory.

well in 2010 we recruited mostly from DP until they ran out of members and closed, we recruited a lot of CP in the first half of last year until that sorta dried up, and since then we been making do with people from fi and those who come into our irc and get charmed by our ranks into leaving their clans and joining ours.

 

and the last laugh is on u because all the "new blood" apps your clan gets are my spies.

I think it was more than that, just others went back to Cp. Hence him saying it "dried up."

 

OT: I'm sure most clans wouldn't trust new members, thinking they were spies. In Ai we had a decent amount of Rs recruits only because we only tried recruiting there.

From what I've seen on Hazards forums, Mitch does a good job of recruiting a lot of "new blood".

But seriously, 95% of Hazard has little to none experience what so ever, I am the best ingame recruiter there is and I spend like zilch time on it ;]

 

It ofc takes us a little bit longer to get them going, but most of them get the point, and then there's some who don't.

 

(this explains why 90% of our clan is still in robes, and level 80s, none of them understand the pure community like we all do ((thank God)) )

The clans that actually go out there and recruit get loads. Those where the majority of members are retired members don't.

But, it is a great job that you're bringing in new people into the clanning community, so great job Mitch. :thumbsup:

OT: When I was in NME, we'd have around 1 - 2 people join us that were recruited ingame. - The rest were from Epidemic, DP, Malice, Negative and a few other little clans.

Most of the who apply for CP have been around a while. Obviously, you'll get the odd-few, but in general people know the community well.

No one recruits in game anymore, the game has changed and it has changed clanning. Everyone these days need ovls, summoning and turmoil etc. Something the standard edge pure isn't interested in.

Most of the people who app to TLP have been in like MPC's etc while they get our requirements.

My clan only allows new blood other than the founding leadership. :thumbsup:
