Jagex Are Mad

Never have I ever seen Jagex name the players that they banned along with the playing time. Seems like this one really urked them.

 

Do you think this is an appropriate reaction on Jagex's part? I highly doubt they have records of trades done in game and these players could have transfered to mules that they did not log onto. A rollback would have ensured that no fraudulent money entered the economy. I think they are mentioning names and days played in a hope to deter future bug abusers but I don't think that will work.

Jagex could (and does) easily log trades.

 

The reason they released names is because they wanted to include stats. Notice those total levels? They wanted to show that nobody is safe, and that anybody caught macroing will lose their account.

I remember them mentioning the time some banned players played, but never the name and time. Then again I was inactive for months at a time

they've named them before once. not for bug abusing but botting. and if they didn't. ik for 100% sure they banned a guy with maxed stats and there were only like 8 of them so like lol... or something like that. so u could figure out who it was anyway

Jagex log literally everything. They can see which accounts were traded to, thus can track their mules and any other associated accounts.

 

People didn't even know that Jagex logged play time, etc, until they released the figures in your Adventurers' Log, so it's only logical to assume that they're logging a lot more than we think they do.

 

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they logged your clicks, the position of your clicks, frequency, etc.

They did this to send a message to other players, but it was too late. Even if they did a rollback for everyone most of the people on that list already sold and profited so much from the RSGP they sold.
