What kind of defence is acceptable now?

Why's the definition of pure changing? I remember when clans were wary of accepting 20 defense, and now 'pures' are up to 39 defense? Why? It almost makes the term pure meaningless.

 

The definition of pure is still the same. What's changed are clans looking for a competitive edge and decide to stretch the limits on what's accepted in the pure "community".

 

Essentially the term pure is meaningless, to most, and the only differentiation between main clans and pure clans is rune.

 

The only thing stopping clans allowing rune is community acceptance. If they had it their way, they'd allow 40+ in, purely to gain a competitive edge. That's the sad reality with the pure community today.

 

I'm surprised no one has created a rune/zerker clan to go out and wreck the competition on Saturday's and Sunday's. I mean, what's wrong with that? 35 Defence is unfair to those that have stayed true to the term of "pure".

Pure to me is 35 -. In the summer it was 35. Now it seems it's gone to 39.

True, I still don't get anything above 35 defence. I understand why people get 35 def for agile but see it as pointless as it's 1 return set for the wildy. Shame I managed to get 31-33 def over bonus xp weekend -.-

im 3 def n proud. been encouraged to get 35 def, but staying a true pure..

the reason that is because i'm too lazy to do all the quests for turm, can't afford turm as well. hehee...
