After much consideration and deliberation we've decided to remove all bans.

 

This includes but is not limited to:

• IP Bans
• Users with 100% warn/Banned Usergroup
• Suspensions

 

If you were previously banned, you are now free to view and posts on the forums again. If you had 100% warn, you now have 80% and it is your final chance. If you ruin it, you'll be re-banned, never to be unbanned again.

 

Enjoy your freedom and hopefully you use it to post constructively now.

Good idea though, I think I got unbanned before this update unless you did it earlier and only recently announced it.

Any chance on my 80% getting reduced, fair play if no, but so ugly. I don't mean today or tomorrow, but at some point down the line in a few months if I'm still about.

Depends whether you improve enough or not, and whether we decide to accept your warn appeal.

What led you guys to do this?

Karl brought it up a while ago and there were mixed opinions. I personally said hell no originally because he was the only person who could IP ban people. I'm still not all in on it, but since I can do it myself now I'll be on top of rebanning people that abuse their second chance.
