Where to train?

So on my lower level 1 def account I was interested to see how training was in the EoC, but come to find I almost died to 1 rock crab before I could kill it... Where can you train now?

 

 

Also, what is the best gear set up for 1 def?

I started training at daggonoths and it has worked out pretty well. Xp rates seem pretty slow now, though.

But on a fairly low level 1 def pure dags won't work :/

If it's a low leveled acc, look for something low leveled (Lower than your combat)

 

Maybe have a look around the stronghold of security. Just b/c a monster was good/bad xp before, doesn't mean it is now.

I used to go to fresh crawlers when I was 1 defence don't know if they do more damage on you now though.

if you are low level, try dags.

prayer doesn't affect your combat so please don't be ignorant say "im 1 prayer pure"

Dust devils seem to be better xp at lower levels if you have the slayer needed. I've been getting better xp than at daggs.

Do slayer, the slayer master shouldnt be able to assign you something you cant kill, at least that's what I think I saw in a jagex post although it may be a little challenging and pray is almost a must now

Yeah it's interesting how prayer does not effect combat, I spent time getting 175 qp on an old account to make it to where all pure prayer quests are done but now that does not matter. :/
