It wasn't a concerted move by Havoc and Hazard's leaderships, none of their members were under any obligation to start playing BS, this is the same with TLP members. A small minority continue to play RS and there are separate areas on forums for TLP RS and TLP BS.

It was simply a good way to keep playing with mates. Also many Havoc and Hazard members are Ex-TLP with mates still in TLP so it was a natural focal point to move to in BS where there are already large established clans.

No, however making money is very easy.

no. it's basically just like normal RS except you make money faster and train faster.

Takes about 4 hours to max out completely. After that there is all the gear which takes quite alot longer. 13 hours for a ch (going hard)
