Although, to many of you, here at RSC, you will probably flame this, call me a "downie" or a retard. But this is what I think.

 

~The Start~

 

It all started on a cold, European winter morning. The year was 2003, in the Jagex offices, Moderators from table to table are discussing ways to bring more revenue to the company. Mod ****** (Named blocked for personal reasons) proposed an idea. "Gang, GANG!" the excited JaGeX employee exclaimed, "I have an idea!". What is it?, the workers thought patiently, although the answer never was spoken, finally Mod ****** spoke up and said, "What is your idea?". The exited Mod burst out with glee, "To bring more profit in, we can sell Runescape gold to players for money, But we need to act like we're against it, we need to make the players think lowly of these Macros, They'll never find out!" the Moderator exclaimed without taking even a single breath in. The room as silent, you hear a pin drop. Finally, one employee spoke up, "Tha-that's AMAZING!" he exclaimed, and a rupture of conversation burst out of the excited employees mouths.

 

Act 2:

~The Profit~

 

 

As the years past, the Moderators made out like bandits. They've sold over 9 billion gold coins, for over 800000 pounds! The employees thought this was too good to be true. They put supposingly "real" players in the game, and had them make money in the Duel Arena, or Wilderness, but all with generated numbers, so they would never lose. These corrupt game directors thought this would never end, but they were wrong. One icy night, on December 8th, 2007. A gang of African-American Haberdashers (who just happened to play runescape) ransacked the JaGeX office. None were left alive. Days later, they changed Runescape dramatically. To the runescape we know today.

Yeah... you have serious issues in terms of critical thinking skills. You're the kind of person who'll believe in all kinds of crazy ****, such as 9/11 being an inside job, the government being run in actuality by the ominous Illuminati or space aliens, vaccinations causing autism, drug companies being the actual cause of deceases, and so on and so forth.

 

Jagex is not who were selling gold to players. It can't be more obvious, can it? Do you forget that in every world there would be players at every Yew tree, conveniently level 3 in combat, having only a single skill trained: woodcutting. Or have you forgotten about the terrible, non-English speaking players (likely Asians) who would kill green dragons for hours on end in nothing more than a rune chainbody, rune platelegs and an adamant full helm? If Jagex were the cause of this old problem, there would be no need for hiring Chinese speaking people to play RuneScape in order to disguise what they were actually doing, for they'd only need to create decoy accounts, with loads of money which they could simply poof into existence, to ultimately sell to gullible players. They didn't.

 

Be more skeptical, and before seriously considering a hypothesis, try shooting it down first instead of building it up; that's how you strengthen actual theories.

 

EDIT: That's why it pays to finish reading topics, huh? A bunch of ****** ended up assassinating several Jagex employees, for God knows why, right? Now I believe your story. It's always the blacks.

Any 13 year old can come up with this, they could have done this, problem is that there are goldfarmers and they do sell items/ have sweatshops.
