Best thing you can do is make sure all admins and moderators passwords are long full of symbols, with capital letters, and numbers.

Who ever has admin/mod access to your site make sure they have strong passwords and watch out for people linking you to a phishing site, a kid called Hacking tried to hack us and failed horridly.

All you need to do is make a secure password for both your website username and your email. Last night, leaders of Veneratio bruteforced one of our moderators and then after that, they recovered his forum account using his email for a second wave of topics being deleted.
