Good f2p ranging spots?

Hey, I'm 40 range at the moment and I'm looking for some good f2p ranging spots. Fleshies are just not doing it for me.

 

If you want to spend 30 extra seconds being extra generous, compile a list of good f2p spots up to 70?

Monks just south of wildy, only like 15 hp, but they heal themselves if you don't ko them and you don't need food as they heal you.

Minotaurs I think might be good for your level, they're in that thing at barb village.

Cows, Moss giants but the spot I think of you have to start Drag Slayer.

Fire giants or something, lesser demons? the red things in the kamarja island cave bit thats f2p but you go through for access to the Tzh cal lalala thing.

 

Idk for 40 range, but thats just a few ideas, you could also do chickens ;)

I am doing chickens right now. It's slow experience, but the money you get from feathers overtime adds up. :)

i found hill giants myself to be most time worthy

 

at 49 range atm

Ankous 60+, they should still be really good xp. Just bring some food until they stop agressing you (10-15 mins)

Hill giants are good at that level, if you pick up the bones and various other loot you'll be making 15-20k a trip.

If your like 45/55 range id say guards at edgvile after that go lessers.

At 40 range, stick to safespotting fleshies since it's decent exp.

 

At 60+ range, the best f2p ranging spot is stronghold of security 4th floor on ankous. There are some safespots where you can range them from. Use mith arrows and loot them or bronze arrows and don't bother looting them.

Lol, I'm not an idiot. I did look for a guide, and there wasn't one at the time that I had posted this thread (Look at the dates between this thread and Kosher's guide).

 

I do remember Kosher's impressive F2P guide on PC way back, but unfortunately PC was down at the time. I also did look through Tip.it's and RSC's and all they had were mumbo jumbo about P2P and rock crabs or Ankou, to which I had not attained the appropriate level to train on.

 

I just needed a tips on getting to 65. (On an previous account I had cannon'd to this point :ermm: )

Considering I trained 1-88 range in f2p.. I'll give you my favourite spots ;)

 

20-45

-minatours

-goblins

 

45-60

-white knights

-fleshies

-hill giants (best exp if not too busy)

 

60-70

-hobgoblins *a very good spot to power range, bring 10k bronze arrows.. fast exp

-moss giants (if you can get to crandor- go there.. if not go to varrock dungn.

 

70+

-ankous -

-lesser demons

-fleshies -still the fastest exp if can handle the boringness. Best to at afk if your 20+ def
